When I put an evo 8 ecu in my car, I quickly grew fond of evoscan's data visualizations. It was my goal to eventually put a monitor in my car that could display real-time data, but something that had a factory look. About a year ago when Limitless put out a pre-order for their EvoDroid, I jumped right on it.
Below are pictures and a video of the final product, along with some images of the process. It's still not done yet, but it's getting close. Next step is to put the finishing touches on the leather panel, and re-program the display with some different data (fix some layout issues, etc.)

It was actually a pretty simple process. First I removed the stock air vents and dash pieces, then I blocked off the air vent tube.
Next, I made a bracket that the small tablet could sit in.
After that, I used an old metal center-mounted gauge pod I had, and cut that up to fit my application. I don't have any welding equipment, so everything I did was basically jbweld and a dremel.
Lastly, I bought some black leather to cover everything with.
It still needs some finishing touches, but it's starting to look good.
