Just bought an act streetlight flywheel. I got it in the mail today and when I opened it , it was cracked on the side of the flywheel, not the face. My question is would it be ok to install it? Please refer to the pic. thanks

I would not use it. Send it back to were you got it for a exchange or send it to ACT if that doenst work out. It is not safe to use

I would never use any flywheels that have cracks in them. In the event that flywheel gives out, a whole lot of damage can be caused to not only the car but to everyone around it.

Agree with the others. They sell scatter shields around this for a reason. It can be quite catastrophic. It should never be less that perfect and definitely not something you want to gamble with.

Nice, that's would only be the first problem! They like to go up and hit the fuel rail for a nice little BBQ, happened to a guy in my city.Basically a total loss, unless you are THAT dedicated. Seemed like a weird place to get a chip/crack too.
