Paul Walker dead at 40: report - NY Daily News

Tragically, our beloved actor Paul Walker has passed away from a single car accident and explosion. I loved the fast and the furious series. I thought it was good wholesome entertainment besides the infamous 420a in the first one that we all know. I am a little sad that he had passed away.

Now the questions are, what will happen to the fast and the furious series? Will they continue making fast and the furious 7 with only one starring character left, Vin Diesel?

I don't care what happens to F&F, I'm sad for the 15 year old daughter he left behind.

I could cry right now.
Who was the driver? Paul was the passenger

Edit: rumors say it was Birdman who was the driver of a porsche , also died.

2nd Edit: Was not Birdman. The name Roger was used though.

RIP

RIP Paul. I grew up with the franchise and now my son loves it. Very sad. If Birdman was the driver I don't feel bad for that tool. But poor Paul, never let people drive your vehicles and I never let people drive insane with me in the passenger seat.

R.I.P. Paul Walker.
I was 10 years old when that movie came out. It was my first view of tuner cars and that Eclipse. Haven't missed opening night of any of the movies since. Prayers to his family and close friends. Including his F&F family.

It's very sad. I grew up with those movies, fake or not it was a damn good show.

He will be sorely missed

My heart hurts it's broken no one can convince me that this is real.... Prayer warriors please pray real hard for his only child, his daughter and family... #HeartOfAnAngel13YrsFamilyForever WeJustCelebreatedYour40thBirthday..... My God... My God... I can't believe I'm writing this."

Literally I could cry dude. He was one of my favorite actor. Love his movies, running scared, vehicle 19 etc.
I think they we're still filming part 7, or it's only half way done, I could be wrong. My heart goes out to his family, only kid Meadow, and the f n f family. I know filing the movie has gotten them so close together. I'm so disturb by this. I probably will need consoling. I think his favorite car is a nissan gtr, hopefully he is in heaven burning rubber and watching down on his friends and family. R.I.P. Paul William Walker.

I remember watching the first fast and furious movie and saw a different side to the underground racing scene, and Paul Walker presented his character as if it was one of us, as an enthusiast and gave his role the realism. Most actors are not car guys, but he was and its almost as if it is not acting when he was in scenes. People could relate to him. He was a nissan gtr fan and i believe he owned a few in his collection.
I'am very sad about this news and my condolences and prayers go out to his family.
Paul Walker, rest in peace. You will be missed :(

Exactly! He was a real car fan. I'm still in shock! Rip O'Connor

Driver was Roger Rodas, the ceo of Paul's tuning shop of choice: Always Evolving. Roger was driving and from the looks of it tee'd the car on the passenger side into a pole at which point it instantly burst into flames. They have had much trouble identifying the victims. I feel for his daughter left behind who just moved from Hawaii to live with him and all his charity work that won't be the same without him. He was a good man and a true enthusiast who did the acting to pay for it all. Never forgotten.

This pains me to no end!
I had my just bought my first Eagle Talon when the first Fast and Furious movie came out, I drove my girlfriend and 4 year old step son to the drive in to watch it, I have been hooked on cars ever since. I think we all need to have a get together in support of Paul Walker and raise some money and donate it to his Charity.Paul has been a major contributor to our hobby and we owe it to him.

Right now it really doesn't matter if you were a fan of his movies or not. All that matters is a very good man lost his life today. Paul Walker's Reach Out Worldwide was set up in 2010 after the devastating earthquake in Haiti. The group’s mission is “to offer help and hope to people affected by natural disasters.”. Whenever Mr. Walker's name came up in conversation, it was always followed by the highest praise. His contribution to the tuner car scene can be felt everywhere on the planet. He truly cared about the hobby all of us love and his humanitarian efforts prove that he cared about so much more. R.I.P. Paul Walker. You will be missed.

I want to believe this is some messed up vivid dream I am having and I will soon wake up. Or that this was some super elaborate hoax, I keep checking the news every hour to see if anything changed. I am still in disbelief. I can't even look at my car without being reminded of him. On top of it all my girlfriend doesn't understand why I am so upset. I looked up to the guy. I made a goal long time ago that I would one day meet him.. I will be in California for Christmas and will atleast visit the site he was last living. :(

Also, RIP to the driver, Roger. Great friend and advisor to Walker. I have heard of him before Paul liked the guy a lot.

Wow this hurts. This has got to be the third death I have heard of where someome was driving a Porsche Carrera GT. Jeremy Clarkson test drove one and he mentioned how unsafe and brutal the car felt driving it fast. He said one mistake and thats it. A few years back there was a big thread on evolutionm.net about the death of two persons in one of those things.I thought I read that one of the persons was personally known I believe by a few folks there. Word has always been since this car came out it has been a death trap. Prayers to Paul Walker his daughter and and members of the famlies of the two deceased men.
