I really enjoyed last year's shootout dvd. I was so bummed about not being able to go (still am...sucks living in Kalifornia). I must have watched it 10 times in the first couple of days. And the music was so unique, those songs still get stuck in my head every now and then. Please make a 2013 dvd!!!

I had suggested to j that he make it available online for purchase with direct download. This would solve the issue of part of the movie being in hd and part in sd. If it's only available on dvd I will be skipping it this year.

From what he's told me, it'll be in 720p this year.

We also chatted a bit about the direct download and what the pros/cons are. It seemed like he wasn't going to go this route this year based on the complexity it brings and the lack of time he's had trying to get the DVD finalized. But maybe he changed his mind.

The bad news: I may get the DVDs in by the 20th at the earliest and the end of the month at the latest.
