No. The downstream o2 sensor is only there to check the function of the cat. It will, however, throw a CEL.

and well my mechanic said it is i know black smoke means its running rich and white smoke means your burning coolant..

its white smoke but its not like flowing out heavily untill u hit the gas and its just like a huge puff then nothing and it smells like gas not coolant..

and if i was burning coolant wouldnt my car sooner or later overheat from losing coolant?

correction sorry its a blueish white color which i know blue is burnig oil which i know i am but whys it smell like gas

Pull your spark plugs and look at them as well. They should be able to lead you in a direction as well.

If you can get some sort of logger on it (or see if your mechanic has a live update scan tool type thing), check out how the front o2 signal acts, or anything else that sticks out as odd.

yah spark plugs are fine brand new and we did nothing wrong with o2 sensor im going to go and buy the parts now for the boost leak tester

just letting everyone know we solved it it was the intake into the turbo !

What was wrong with the intake. Loose, cracked coupler or something else.

the dude that we bought it from didnt tighten a hose clamp on it so it was off a bit
