Could you get it to stall in a 2-3 seconds in the prestage beams and then ease into full stage so that you could run in competition with it?
Thanks dmaffo! It's funny how the term "fast" evolves.
Lol I'm not really sure, DSMReviver. This car was so rushed to get to the track after the engine came back out of the SL-R that I only did one quick log to make sure AFR's were in check from the 5 spd's settings. I want to say they were in the 80-85% range but it could have been as high as 90's. Judging by the VE map though the pump was keeping up just fine(didn't have to add a bunch of fuel up top to band-aid).
That's what I do. Right when I hit the 2-step, or just before, I ease it ahead a bit to stage. I'm pushing on the brake pedal so hard I feel like I'm going to break the seat!
To update the thread a little bit, I ran the same times on street tires 10.08 on a slick.
A friend said it was making 25 psi on the 3750 2 step but I've never looked. I would guess I left at 20 psi or so. It may have bounced off the 2 step as it rolled out though.
This is a different chassis and an original auto car. Cruises around exactly like stock Full line pressure once it goes past 0 psi.
