So after about a week of searching I finally came across the part numbers for the clamp, ring seal, hardware and downpipe flange that was meant for the HX52 as it comes off the D12C engines on some Volvo over-the-road trucks.

If you call a dealership, the only way you can look these up is with a VIN.

So after some cursory browsing of a few classified adds I had one for a D12C rig, and called the closest certified dealer.

Downpipe: 20446745 - ~$88
Clamp: 1629499 - ~$32
Nut: 990951 -~$1
Bolt: 984756 - ~$2
Ring: 1638168 - ~$6

Total: $130.67

The $88 dollar downpipe is the only way you can get the downpipe flange, at least as far as I can find.

Your other option is to have the marmon flange on the turbine outlet turned down for a 4.5" V-Band flange, as I had done on my first HX52, and I didn't feel like doing that this time around.

Enjoy!

Ok Im getting really pissed off Ive called all holset listers trying to find a new chra for my holset CHRA number 3530521
I see a few people with this chra number any more info will help I need a replacement!

^ Great find. Another useful parts resource is:

Turbomaster - Official distributor for Garrett, Holset and TiAL Turbochargers

If you search by the part number on the tag, the site will tell you the replacement CHRA number and the part number for the repair kit as well.

Take the HX40 I posted at the top of this page for example- 3539018. Go to the HX40 catalog page:

HX40W - Holset - Catalog - TurboMaster

...and scroll down until you find the number in the left-hand column. You'll then see that particular turbo uses CHRA #3591196, and part kit #3575169.

You can also enter 3539018 into the search bar and choose the option "Search By Part Number" to lead you to the same page.

Hey guys. Just go my 12cm non waste gated twin scroll turbine housing in the mail today. Fits H1C and more importantly my Hx35 :hellyeah:. I was a bit skeptical at first but everything turned out perfectly. Just one more piece to my TS setup for next year! Just incase you feel you can do better, by all means. The part # is 3524123 and I was quoted $650 and a wait time from my local Cummins stealership.

I was a bit skeptical at first but everything turned out perfectly. I emailed the owner of Cummins Performance Parts several times and he assured me that I was getting the geniune part. This is the cheapest I've found at approx $211 shipped. Just one more piece to my TS setup for next year! Just incase you feel you can do better, by all means. Good stuff, I just got mine in the mail last week :thumb: 211 is absurd, I paid 265, great deal there. How are you planning to adapt it to the vband on the downpipe? You using the matching holset vband or doing your own? I'm deciding whether I want to hack off the existing flange and weld a true 3" v band connection in for extra downpipe clearance, or simply piggyback it onto the existing holset v band.

I've got an oddball here. I couldn't find a drop of info on the part numbers. It still had a sticker over the tag with different part numbers, which I'm guessing was added in 2007. But here's the part numbers from the tag along with the specs.

Not without machining it.

Turbine spec should be 76/67mm on that unit. That's an application-specific turbo that has a H1C compressor wheel mated to a turbine that is even larger than a standard HX40.

Thats what I figured. Digital caliper was off by 1 :D but anyway, onto selling this housing and finding a 16cm -.- I thought it was going to be the 22cm housing because I couldn't find much info on this turbo before I bought it. It's freaken 26 LOL HUGE

I want that compressor wheel. I can't find a billet wheel for my HX35 anywhere.

KTS sells them. I bought 1 but then i sold it. It didnt look like it was really a performance wheel. It was more like just a replacement in billet. Yea it looks pretty but it didnt look light weight or anything. They will make to your demands though. I could put one in and order if you want one. Its expensive to ship from them so i buy about 50 wheels each time.

Guys who can confirm me if the Holset HX40 assy# 4041276 is in fact a 60mm one?

I got the same turbo assembly # 4041276, the exhaust side is a 8 bolt flange. I was wondering what do people use to use a vband on this turbo? I see OEM holset vband downpipe flanges only in 5 bolt flanges but not 8 bolts like this hx40 has. Does anyone have any insight on this?

Assy: 4041276
Serial: H080800762
Model: HX40W

Bringing this one back from the grave since I finally got a chance to check out the HX40W I bought over the winter.

8 blade HX40W - came to me internally gated
18 cm^2 divided housing
Tag lists p/n 3587610
Cartridge is stamped with 3591758
Inducer: ~59.99mm
Exducer: ~80.41mm

Just one item to note when I started putting the oiling system together for this particular turbo. Based on what I read the feed line kits for HX40 would be M12x1.5 so that's what I blindly bought. Shows up - totally useless. M14x1.5 on this one, just in case someone else runs across this turbo.

Can anyone identify this turbine housing? I can't find anything matching up all the #'s:

3525129-02
E4 01 164

It's a twin scroll t3 but I can't verify its size or what turbo it's for.

I did the actual measurement and I was mistaken, it's t4, NOT t3, and I then discovered the size is inscribed on the inside of the turbine entrance. It's 22cm^2...which unfortunately will most likely be way too big to be worth anything on a 4g63, and apparently came off an H1C. Ill try to get some pics up.
