Converted back to FWD!! What up1!!!! It fvcking sucks!!

I grenaded the awd trans so I pulled the drive shaft and trans and put my fwd trans back in the car to keep it mobile. The car is useless in third gear. I am DEFINITELY not used to torque steering anymore.

Edit, Oh and whoever said that you can use an awd drivers side half shaft/intermediate shaft in a fwd to help with torque steering. You are an idiot and have never tried it.. The splines are different sizes from fwd to awd transmissions.. ask me how I know.. D: :banghead:

Started the rebuild today on my 91 tsi awd. Got the head off and awaiting a fresh rebuild soon.:hellyeah:

You didn't use a truck to push it in with it's bumper did you;) oh bud always breaking things.

Mine is in her winter hibranation, but shes getting new shoes and socks :) (wheels and shocks)

LOL no,apparently two,200 lb out of shape guys trying to push a 3100lb car on not so level ground with their hands isnt such a good idea..I should got a third out of shape 200 lb guy to help, thats where i went wrong..:aha:ROFL

Not today, but Friday.. got to get a glimpse of what this pig will do with the HX52 at 30-31psi and a proper 9k redline.

I hope you're referring to 2Gs...

Wasted $300 on the Greddy FV BOV because I like the color options. The charcoal and red will go nice with my color scheme...Plus I'm sucker for limited edition

Edit:
Just came in the mail and I must admit this is a pretty piece of hardware

Got my Brembo Stock replacement Sloted and Heat treated rotors, with Hawk HP plus pads on today. Stopping power is amazing, but are squeaking like mad at low speed stops.. Oh well.. Hopefully that is short lived.

Made new lower rear bumper support bracket.

The oem steel piece is corroded and has the strength of a piece of wet spaghetti.

New bracket is made from 0.09" 1100-0 aluminum sheet with an extra bend up away from the bumper cover.

Should last forever if I insulate it from the stainless bolts I plan to attach it to the car with (galvanic corrosion).

Final checks and some fuel before the dyno bright and surly tomorrow!

She gets plenty of street duty!

Drove 25 miles out to Boostin Performance:

Found my base timing (CAS) was 4-5* retarded, fixed, made a pull.. on gate pressure she made 325wtq on Boostin's Mustang Dyno, vs. 301wtq on A*spec's DynoJet. So picked up a good deal on just that alone. Still real fat AFRs ~11.2:1. Boost controller installed, thought we turned the knob all the way down and made a test pull then suddenly saw a 38psi spike and got out of it.

MBC Knob had come un-threaded LOL some loc-tite and a few turns later we went to make another test pull, got to 20psi (only 4000rpm!) aaaaand the lower rad hose decided it wanted a day off. So we got some new -16 hose in the mail and we'll try again this week.

Uploading videos of both (partial) pulls later tonight! :thumb: You could feel the pressure change in the room on the brief 38psi spike :hellyeah: Spool is just unreal for a snail this size, now that the MBC is keeping the gates from cracking prematurely. Devin was pleasantly surprised by that too, compared to having previously had a T3 6766 on the Red Demon

Did a little math with today's new 15-16psi numbers. Though they mean nothing without ET/Trap MPH.. Conveniently, her first run off the wastegates had the same ~7000RPM shutdown today as was used on the DynoJet 224(?):
409whp/301wtq @ 7100

Today on the Mustang 500-AWD:
439whp/325wtq @ 7100

Using 9-11% to convert to DJ numbers gives about 485whp/357wtq! Not bad.
