Try these new coilovers called FEAL. They seem a reasonable choice.

K-Sport is the most used.

You can get away with using some evo coil-overs with little modification. That opens up a lot more doors for coils-overs. The 1g dsm front spindle is thinner where it bolts up the the strut so all it needs is some shims. The rears will have to have a dsm lower mount from an old strut welded to the evo strut, not sure if that makes sense to you ill try and get a link up when I get home.

This is really cool. Not a honda fan but like you said, I am a car guy and can appreciate the work and the know-how to mix and match.

I played in a couple tourni's in Fargo, the stick caught my eye haha.

I think it's great to see something different I've seen 4g63's in hondas but not the other way around, I like the origionality. Ill be following this goodluck on the build.

anyone have an idea on replacing the whole front hub setup? can you get them a complete set? i have the knuckle out and want to replace everything and add in some extended arp lug studs

thanks! ive enever seen anything either so thats getting me motivation to get it done. Im not good with build threads but ill try my best to document it. i usually always just get a whole bunch of stuff done then forget to take pictures LOL

Not sure if this was already discussed since I only skimmed over the previous posts, but my question is regards to your axel setup.

Are the fwd axels you plan to use for your honda drivetrain the same length and shape as on a 1g dsm. Will the hub splines match up with the 1g hubs, or are you using honda hubs somehow, or making custom axels??

Reason why I ask is because for my build, I am swapping my 420a engine for an awd evo 8 2.4LR and to do this I need to make a custom axel, because the tranny spline count and dsm spline count differ.

Points for originality with your build.

im just getting all the measurements and having Drive Shaft Shop make some level 3.9 axles for it. Hefty price but its worth it for that name haha

Is it an h22?

heck no.. those bastard honda engines need to stay in preludes LOL

I think he said It's an LS vtec, 1.8 non vtec block from an Acura LS and a vtec head from an Acura GSR

correct sir!
