not yor typical graveyard story

Well i have been looking for 156mm rods so i can use my stroker pistons to stay 2.0 and havent had luck finding a rod set that are 156mm 6 bolt rods so yes a 21mm pin i found some at dsm graveyard before you say dont do it i was thinking this way they are only a few hours away from me so i was gonna call and ask if they have them in stock and i want to come pick them up shouldnt have problems working with them this way should i does anyone have some stories of working with them 1 on 1 this could save me some cash whats your thaughts

Ask them if they have them in stock and when they say "yes" say you wanna come pick them up. Then watch how they change their mind.

They assured me they had what I wanted in stock and could ship it the same day so I would have it time for a deadline that I was trying to meet. 2 months later it was drop shipped from the manufacturer but I had already missed my deadline and bought parts elsewhere.

A few hours? That's still pretty far. I know there is a member on here who said they live right down the street from DSM Graveyard. Don't remember who it is but you might wanna ask them to take a trip over there for you, to see if they have em in stock.

This is a great idea and can paypal for them and pay his shipping and get them that would be sweet but yes few hours i get 32hyw so no big sweat

hopefully this helps. And I wouldn't order anything from dsm graveyard.

I feel like if you order 156mm rods from graveyard, you'll get stock rods cut apart, and welded back together 6mm longer... LOL

Those are 150mm length 21mm pin.. Manley does not make a 156mm 21pin rod for the 6 bolts.

Lol i wouldnt order anything i would simply walk in the store get my parts and walk out but i dont wanna have them say yes we have them and drive there and they say o umm we sold them

My bad I swore I seen some. If you don't change your pistons then maybe you can custom order some rods. If companies make custom pistons I don't see why they can't make a custom rod. I'd call around.

Jesus just google vendor review from them. A couple of members are talking legal action.

I wouldn't even walk under their tent at the shoot out. Too may what ifs, since their scores suck, uhm nah, would you buy something off of eBay if the sellers reviews were in the 50s%?

I dont think u guys are getting it i am not wanting to order anything from them to have it shipped its pretty hard to mess up a sealed box from the conpany that make the rods i would see them with my own eyes measure them right on the spot and walk away with my product

Yes i am saying there is a chance being that its simply tape and not one person on this site can say they wouldnt buy from them if the product was put in their hand before they had to pay if they were the only shop that has the part you need to finish their build yes i am trying other options before i get from them such as im going to call the people that make the rods directly

I most certainly would not nor would nearly anyone else with any sort of principles and an above-room-temperature IQ.

I know more about John and co. (granted turn-over at his little shop of horrors is tremendous for such a small bunch) than could be easily related by a comment here.

They need to be actively put out of business by consumers exercising due diligence.

The joke of a shop car could be drop-shipped to my house with a big bow on it, only to be hauled to the crusher and filmed in glorious HD as it is made into smaller pieces of failure.
