So im pretty much all done with the tuck minus making it super pretty, I deleted all emissions/ac/powersteering only kept the basics so is it okay to cut out the stock emission connectors and wires? or are they hooked up to a relay that connects to something else, just want to get rid of everything im not using.

also second pic is a random plug I don't know what it goes to
wire colors are as follows:

Blue/red
Blue/yellow
Blue/black
Green/black

I'm unable to see the photos. But, if you're referring to eliminating the solenoids, you have three choices. First is to leave them plugged in and tucked out of sight. Second is to measure the resistance across them with a DMM and solder resistors in their place (~30 Ohms, but check them yourself anyway). Third is to use DSMlink or an equivalent tuning software to eliminate them from the system. All of these options will keep the car from throwing a CEL.

yeah I have dsmlink and have that set up, so that's why I was wondering. and for some reason I cant upload the pics from my phone there on my computer help me! LOL

you can do a wire tuck, and operate dsmlink. but you cant upload photos?

Get on with it man!

this is one picture

emission wiring

random plug

complete minus emission crap

so is it okay to chop off the emissions harness? if I get a go, im able to tuck everything in so nicely:)

Whats up with the bov? Is that a pill bottle? LOL. Looks much cleaner. Now worry about the rust by the strut tower!

Its definitely a start. Keep the good work goin.

LOL yes it is a pill bottle because I don't have a plug for the intake, and fp intake isn't here yet. Did a test fit with everything underneath the intake mani, ziptied and it looks good im very happy with it. will post a final " done" picture soon, still diagnosing this no start

and as for fixing the rust, I have a few spots to take care off, car was hit by some lady in the front and tore off my bumper causing the airbags to deploy, tubular front end is under construction!

Why bother wire tucking a car with a gaping hole in the strut tower?

because its undergoing a full restoration with a tubular front end for a 10 sec or bust build. Long story short, Her name is Ironman and is being donated to a loved one whom I lost to breast cancer.

TBH, when i tuck mine, the engine and tranny are ALL coming out. I dont know how people do it without cussing til they have an aneurism with the engine in the bay. Itd drive me nuts. Thats a lot of work even with everything yanket out.

Yeah it took a while, I have a complete donor harness so that's why I did it, if all fails I can throw the stock one back in, just one of my biggest pet peeves, a clean engine bay.

That makes sense then, most people would just find a cleaner shell to start with, but it makes sense now. Good luck!

Ive been looking for a cayenne red gsx for the longest time, sold my last rust free 2gb in my sig and found her, a little beat up but the most mechanically sound dsm ive ever owned.
