Just picked up a bushmaster carbon 15 the other day and just because the price was cheap an ATI omni poly assembled lower as well. I haven't decided what to do with the lower yet. I thought about getting a dedicated 22 upper just for plinking but then keep thinking to get a regular ar upper and get a 22 conversion kit. Then I could use it in any of my rifles. Either way need to save some money up so I have some time to think about it.

Put an upper on the Omni lower and it fits very tight although in the manual it states it will be tight but will loosen up after firing break in rounds. Shot a mag out of it just for fun. For the money all I can say is :thumb:

Great looking GP100, Craig. Have you shot it yet?

I just picked up my first S&W about 2 weeks ago. Went to my local gun store to drop off a shotgun for service, ended up handling a model 637, and ending up taking it home. I've been eyeballing it for about 2 years now, so I guess it was time. I also picked up a cheap Uncle Mikes holster and freshened up on my sewing skills and moved the clip to position the gun lower. Now I have a decently deap concealment, lightweight, appendix carry option for use with shorts in the summer. Nice change of pace from stuffing a Glock down my pants like I've been doing for the past 6 years.

I love the smith for a summer gun. It is alot nicer than dealing with my g23.

Here's a pic of my dpms. Before and after I got tired of the FDE.

I spent about 8 hours with it, polishing every component in the action. I also replaced a borderline trigger plunger that was causing a very slight "catch" as the cylinder started to rotate, lightened the hammer spring, and added some custom grips and a sight upgrade for good measure.

This thing has become my favorite gun to shoot, even surpassing the CZ 75 (although it's a close call). It's very smooth (especially for a ruger revolver), and shoots where you point it. I fired some full-house 357 loads that I made up the other day (158gr FPRN over 15.5 grs of H-110), and holy crap! Forget the wound cavity; if anyone is within 5 feet, they will be burned to death. LOL

If civil war II breaks out, I know where I'm going LOL. Geez Paul. To add to my collection, over the weekend I picked up 2 Ben Pearson recurves, both 60", 45# at 28", and over a dozen arrows. Having some cheaper shooting fun. Ammo for any of my guns is too bleeding expensive or nonexistent.

Now everyone knows what the stains on your sheets are Paul. Nice collection.

I get yah on cheaper shooting fun with a bow. I just got a new to me bear attack bow. Shoots really nice. Already getting pretty consistent groups. Had a group that was at 40 yards with 3 arrows and the fletching was touching on all tree. Another group of three I shoot I was close to doing a robin hood and ruined two arrows.

A good first would be some basic guns that you can have a ton of fun with. Remmington 870 12 gauge is always fun to shoot and they have been around for a long time so there are tons of stuff to do to them. 9mm are coming back on the shelves finally (at least where I am) so I'd also get a 9mm handgun. Those are easy to clean and to reassemble. I started with a Taurus PT92. Same thing as the Baretta except $100 cheaper.

Im thinking hangun.9,40,45 something like that..Id like the xd that changes barrels, but price..

Ill be taking pms for those looking to get rid of something id like..Im not a felon or violent..Just target practice, home defense,Maybe CC.But i dont really leave the house much..

stay away from taurus. It's like ebay when it comes to turbo's. You might get lucky, but 90% of the time it'll be shit.

My vote is for a glock 23. Damn near indestructible and plenty of aftermarket support. You can also get a 9mm conversion barrel for around $100

Id rather it be reliable..Even hi points are reliable, just heavy and akward..

My car not being reliable i can deal with that. But if my life is on the line and the ####er jams..Its gonna be turned into a beating club as long as i dont get hit in a vital area.

Got my License a little while ago. A few purchases so far

Ruger 10/.22 Carbine (Classic)
Smith & Wesson M&P AR15 in 5.56/.223
Smith & Wesson M&P .40

Not shown in picture, also got a Remington 870 Pump

In a few weeks I am also looking at a Savage BMag in .17 Winchester Super Magum

I got me a new wheel gun a few weeks ago. Ruger Super Redhawk, .44 mag, 9.5" barrel, Leupold M8 scope. Talk about a smooth shooting pistol. I also picked up a carry rig for deer hunting.

Very nice. My dad owns Freedom Firearms here in Fort Wayne and they've sold 4-5 of them recently as well. I got to play with one a bit in the indoor range and they are definitely a cool toy!

For my 21st birthday coming up I've got my dad holding onto a Kimber Stainless Custom Crimson Carry II. If anyone is into Kimber's and can legally buy in Indiana check out Freedom! Largest selection and I can get anyone a deal (just mention DSMTuners LOL). End shameless plug for the pops.
