Whats up guys, I was wondering where I could get a badgeless 2g eclipse front bumper. Ihave a 96 Talon that I put eclipse headlights in and I need a bumper to finish the nose of rite. I have seen them with the front mouth open for FMIC
that's the one I am looking for. my 97 gsx has the bumper I am looking for but in the center cut out it has a grey ledge at the top I want the center completely open.
any help in the rite direction would be helpful
thanx for your help:hellyeah:

Replacement 1986 Bumper Cover | Auto Parts Warehouse

That is where I bought my front bumper from for my '95. The fitment is almost perfect and is badge-less. I used a very sharp knife to cut the front "mouth" part out so my intercooler wouldn't hit the bumper. I also did cut out the extra 3 or so inches extra from the part that has the slots running across. Looks very good.

Thank u guys very helpful not a bad price
Stooped when u cut out the top of the mouth did it leave a hole under the top or did it come out even?
Nobody makes a bumper with the 3inches u cut out already missing?
Cutting it is no problem I am a very good mechanic I just figured id ask

you will not find one new with that section already cut out. They are all made with it. There will also be a gap in your bumper when you cut that section out for the "widemouth" look. Not really noticeable unless you are near ground level. Someone who does body work can easily "section in" that portion to make it match the rest of the bumper if you are picky

U guys have been great, thanks for all your help
I look forward to talking to the people on this site for many years to come

It left a small gap unfortunately, but it isn't very noticeable from the front and doesn't ruin the look of the bumper IMO. I haven't seen any bumpers that already come with the slits removed in the mouth. Maybe aftermarket? Not sure.

Here are a few pics of the before and after.

After - (Intercooler is crooked cause I didn't put the bolt that holds it in on one side when messing with the bumper)
