contact the moderators about it. first off, and then use his information he gave you to open a case to get your money back.

There is a few shady members on here ripping other members off, unfortunately there isn't a thing the moderators can do, I recently found out. All I was told was to leave them bad feedback and that was it.

But also keep in mind you are in Canada and things do get caught up in Customs sometimes.

Did you get a tracking number?

What's his username ?

Dispute the payment method.

This is probably going to get locked. All you really can do is leave feedback, and try to get your money back.

Yeah it says plain as day buy at your own risk. Hopefully you used PayPal and make a dispute against your purchase. If you did it that way you will get your money back after a while. That's about it tho.

I recently ran into this problem on another forum about 2 months ago. I never did here back from the person or receive my item. So after filling complaints and a report I got my money back.

Ok well i still have not recieved my suspension. The user is Fran_driversti. They had me gift the funds to avoid the paypalfees. I cannot even contact this user anymore due to their mail box being maxed out. Prior to buying i checked their seller rating and it was good. I have written off this purchase as a $650 loss. Hoping something comes of this before they take someone else for a ride.

This is why when people tell me to gift them the money to avoid the paypal fees, i tell them to EAD. Once you send it as a gift, you have no leg to stand on with paypal as paypal is going to say, "the money couldn't have been sent for goods/services, because it says right here it's a gift. Why would we give you your money back for a gift?"

I'm sorry you got your money stolen, but this is on you for sending money to someone as a gift. You would have been better off as I do to just pay the 3% ($19.50) and have the assurance that you will get your item, or get your money back...

You have no recourse then, at the top of all of the classifieds is a warning to buyers/sellers. You must have missed that, but it comes down to you gifted a stranger money. They don't have to do anything for you at this point.

I have looked at his profile and have yet to see you leave him bad feedback.

This is important so others are aware of this members action. I did so with stevestevesteve on this form as he stole my monies.

Also 1 good feedback on there profile don,t mean Jack!

Contact your credit card company if the payment went through it on PayPal. Paypal is useless beyond 45 days, and the amount of time you have with your CC is limited as well. Take care of this NOW if you want to see any money back.

Never gift man. Espically 650 dollars.

yeah ive been done on here over some head lights, spoke to this chap through FB and apparently has resent them twice but nothing still, i never got anything back but I keep messaging the guy for tracking but as always he keeps putting me off! WISH i could say who it was but I think its frowned upon So i wont!

I read all of the info and i dont care about the money and its not for sure a loss yet as ive been fighting with post on a fewother things due to post being excessively backed up i was merely posting a warning and if i get my other items before the suspension i will leave bad feedback. And as for having issues with people on this forum its not the first time. I was giving this site one last chance before never signing back on

File a Paypal claim to get your money back. There's nothing the site itself or it's staff can do for you regarding individual transactions.
