Already posted in the holset results forum but i figured I'd repost for discussion here. Finally Got my car to the track. I'm very pleased with the results although i only got one good pass before my kevlar sbc started slipping..

Very nice run! Congrats on the time.

Yeah my girlfriend took the video and I just didn't bother saying anything to her because I was happy enough she captured anything LOL.

Looks good!! A slightly lower sixty with a the right temps, looks like a ten second pass.

The night before this run I noticed the car acting a little funny at idle so I checked all the vacuum lines and didn't find anything but today I boost leak tested it and found my intake manifold is leaking severely at the head flange so once this is fixed I expect a lot more even at similar boost levels

Very nice. I dont know whats up with me LOL probably suspension and tire issues but i smacked down a 11.1@132 at 36psi and race gas LOL had the top end but had issues the first 320

I'm dumb founded how you made that pass on 20psi, how much does your car weigh?

Last time I weighed the car was 2900 with the evo 3 16g fp manifold and steel charge piping (have aluminum now) so idk if it weighs more or less now. I'm not sure how I'm making the power with this low of boost on pump gas either.. The tune really isn't where it should be yet either so I'll update and maybe post a log once I get the intake gasket fixed and work on my tune more

Tires spin hard in 1st and 2nd when you make much power. Look at you slips compared to a slick car. They gain at 60 and 330, but stop gaining after that. Also, they have some rocket fuel pump gas out there. Lots of people see to run big numbers on pump there, but anywhere else people are not even close. FWIW I went basically identical times on the HY35 with 24psi and a car weighing 3400.

I honestly believe even when I start making more power I'm not going to have bad traction issues if I use boost by gear. My 60ft wasn't terrific but it wasn't spinning and it was good enough for ragged street tires. The track didn't get a lot of attention that day so the prep was negligible.

Doing that will run lots of mph with a shit ET like mine. Last time I was at the track, my bcs solenoid failed, and I ran 30psi instead of 35, went 11.30@129 even with a 1.650 60' time. The 330 and 660 times only showed the change in 60' time not the loss of power. Seemed like once I went past about 124mph I stopped loosing .1s for every mph gained because of traction. Your threshold will be higher, because traction vs. weight is not a linear relationship.

I can't tell mine is spinning, but I can see it in high resolution log of wheel speed.
Red is first gear, part of it is clipped off, but I had a 6500rpm stutter, I launched at about half throttle. It came down to about 5000 and spun to 7000 as I went wot. I lifted it and it hooked, but was spinning a little bit as the boost/torque hit. This is indicated by the steeper slope of the graph and the step where the red arrow is indicates where it finally hooked up at.

In second you can see the steeper slope and step where the blue arrow is. Same thing, tires were slightly spinning untill the torque fell below what the tires could hold and the hooked and caused the step.

In third it's not clear, but I'm pretty sure that it's there to. That was an 11.0 at 132

If I had a faster data logger, I would get velocity updates at 100hz, then I could take a numerical derivative and have better view of the acceleration and understand whats going on better. I want to swap all 4 hubs to abs ones and log all 4 wheel speeds instead of just engine RPM.

I definately spin while feathering throttle at launch. Track prep was also garbage for me. I think I'm done for the season cause i got kid on the way :) but i have all winter to make her all the more bad ass with new suspension and a cage!

I definitely lost out due to blown kyb agx on eibach pros.

Once I get my VE table completely ironed out i'll post a log. But right now it says 45lb/min peak. I can't say how accurate that is yet because of my calabrations being off. Hopefully by the end of the weekend I'll have good logs. I'll dial the boost down to 20psi to mimic this pass just for reference because I know as soon as the intake doesn't leak i'm going to be building a ton more boost. Seems like I was getting a good bit of knock in 4th gear so i have to determine whats going on there. I am really loving my gear set though I logged 46mph in 1st 75mph in 2nd and 105 in 3rd

It was a billet 7 blade 60mm. The guy I bought the setup from already had the batmowheel in it but sent the 7 blade separate so I may switch it back one of these days to do a comparison
