So here's the problem, my car has new rebuilt motor in it. Running 272 dks cams and Manley valve springs. Car starts after about ten seconds.. Idles down to 1,000rpms, then occasionally with go down to 750. When I drive it , If I slow down to stop it dies, 75 percent of time.

Car is running on black box with no tune
And bigger turbo (only 57 trim)
450 injectors
Stock afpr

Master cylinder is out

Id start by checking all vacuum lines and your coolant level as these 2 items i'd think would cause that big of a drop and increase in RPMs.

K. Will next time car starts , just put 95 ecu with link and it won't start

Bov is recirculated

You have a 57 trim and 450s? What are you gonna run? 2 psi honda guy? ;)

What turbo is this? And dont say t3/t4

A few other things i would suggest

Boost leaks
Throttle body seals
Timing related issue (car stalling)
Over run MAF (or unplugged)
And the fact you have a 57 trim on an un tuned car. With only 450s

A 57 trim is bigger then an hx35. Seeing as the hx35 is compared to a garrett 50 trim.

Infact i believe the hx40 is considered to be a 57 trim. So you are bat shit crazy if you think your car will last with that on stock injectors with absolutely no tune. These cars are NOT civics...

You kind of answered your own question in your first post.

Can't believe no one above didn't see that one.

Idle Air Control
TPS
Vacuum
Boost Leaks
Timing (seriously check this, i did a rebuild one tooth off and it was basically the same issue.)

If you have adj cam gear gears they could be off with the timing when you come to a stop. Check your values for IPW enrichment. It could just be a lower rpm tune issue.

My turbo isn't big as hx40. Had it rebuilt and was told had gt30 compressor wheel. The 450's are just to run car till motor is broken in. But thanks everyone, I will check all of those things and let you all know how it turns out

Get a set of larger injectors, adjustable fuel pressure regulator, rebuilt throttle body with all sensors and a tune....but do this after checking what the other members said

You shouldnt break a motor in with 450s and an upgraded turbo... If you must have 450s for break in if its a tuning issue, you should put a t25 bac on like i did until break in is finished, otherwise your large turbo will cause you just as much trouble.

Still wanna know what turbo this is to see how dumb you really might be... Cause a 57 trim isnt really something id call small...

Turnonetics 57 trim??

If its a 50 trim its more close to a 20g or a fp green, which 450s is still a horrible idea to run with those.

Trim has nothing to do with the size of a turbo, it's the relation between the compressor and turbine wheel. A stock T25 is a "49 trim" turbo. It's a fairly useless term, hence why we don't use it anymore.

Actually, "T3/T4" tells you much more about the size of the turbo than "50 trim" does.

I disagree about t3/t4 saying anything aboutthe size, there are 16g that are t3 and a t3 chra has little to tell about wheel sizes... T3 refers to inlet flange as im sure you know.... Someone could make a t25 t3 and put it on a honda and they could rave all day they have a t3 turbo. But so what LOL. Still a t25

I agree with you trim doesn't say shit about the turbo, thats why i was asking specifically what brand/model turbo he was Rockin. Ive just heard people refer to hx40 as a 57 trim only reason i put that in therr, and the fact a turbonetics 50 trim is comparable with tue hx35. Anyway no one will know anything until op updates his profile or posts his mod list in all of its entirety.

Bottom line....
No tune, 450s, and larger turbo= issues...

The only markings on turbo is on housing that says its .55 ar housing. Asked guy who rebuilt turbo if he knew exact turbo is was he said no but compressor wheel was size of gt30.

Oh and FYI dumb ?? I am just asking cause I am seeking help no need to be a butt.

Car idles great now , was sensor.
