Is there anyone who has or currently is using this STAGG struts with good outcomes are they a good stock replacement? or should i just pay the little extra and get the GR-2s?

im always leery of ebay component such as that ,safety being the major concern m never heard of stagg suspension in my life pm me if you want a good deal on some like new agx's

Ya Dont go with eBay suspension, I have never saw Good eBay suspension yet, pay the little extra for your safety, ride quality an just better overall quality

You get out what you put in...which is why people think these cars are "unreliable".

Go ahead, be a cheap ass and jeopardize the safety of you and those around you. We'll just be over here, pointing and muttering.

I'd advise to steer clear of any ebay suspension part as well. While I haven't used these parts you're speaking of, I did order a set of replacement upper control arms for my 2G a long time ago to see what the quality was. They are still sitting unused in my garage because they weren't even boxed like the factory arms. I can literally bend them by hand-WTF. For someone looking for a drop in replacement I would steer clear of untested ebay "pop-up" brands.

I bought these shocks as a temportary solution for my 1g...

It may have been a once in a life time thing.. but the shocks are still strong. I live in a gravel road with lots of dust and bumpy roads and it handles well. I wouldn't rule them out if money is an issue and you NEED to replace your shocks

I have used these before didn't even last a month. You do get what you pay for, Some have luck and others don't. My car is a D.D lots of city driving and pot holes blew them out.

How cheap is cheap?

Can't you get monroe shocks at the local auto parts stores for under $80 a corner?

Less than $40 on Rock Auto. You can get GR-2's for right about the same price too.
