Found this nice 1990 GSX auto with only 114,000 miles for $2500 on a local forum. Seller was a known/trustworthy DSM guru, Justin Millard a.k.a 770eclipse. He had just put a rebuilt head and timing components, new tires, and some ok rims. No modifications were ever made to this car. Only problem at first was the exhaust flex pipe was broken, a few small interior pieces needed to be put back together, and a small crack on the front bumper.

Justin was very meticulous and made sure everything worked with no problems after the head install. So he drove it around for a week or so and noticed a small oil leak on the back of the block, but couldn't pinpoint the problem.. So being a guy about his reputation and name he offered to put in a virgin block and lower the price to $2,000. He also offered to install any parts I wanted free of charge.

So during this time MAP had its Labor day sale (5% off). So I added a few things to the shopping cart...After I got final pricing, I took my business to Maleovent Motorsports in Las Vegas and they price match and discounted (free) on another car I had coating done for...SoIi bought the following items shipped for $700.

OEM Mitsu MLS Head Gasket
ARP Head Studs
ITM Oil pump
Gates Water pump
Walbro 255 fuel pump & install kit
AMS Race Balance Shaft Eliminator Kit

I was also just informed he had a Evo III turbo & o2 housing mounted up to a 2g manifold...So for $150 he tossed it in with a m/t ecu, 2g MAF, ACL race bearings, and some 450cc inj.

Plans are just to have a clean fun DD with a few plans in the future. Just wanted something fun and have it last for for awhile. Here are some far future plans when I wanna go a lil quicker. Coming from the srt4 world I always wanna be faster, but I still have my neon srt4 swapped drag car as my main project.

Future mods-
-FP race manifold
-8cm hotside
-Punishment Racing vented o2 housing
-3" Punishment Downpipe
-3" Megan Racing Test Pipe
-3" Megan Racing Catback
-Hallman EVO MBC (in cabin)
-FP intake
-ECMlink V3
-ETS street/strip FMIC
-AEM fail safe wideband/boost gauge
-AEM oil pressure gauge
-Tial Q-BOV
-IPT Reworked valve body w/translab shift kit
-IPT torque converter
-Trans cooler
-FIC 1150s (e85)
-16x8 Rota Slipstreams with 245/50/16 Nitto nt555r

Any positive advise would be greatly appreciated. I've read through almost every FAQ that i would need and my goals/mods should reflect what I plan to achieve.

You could throw in a boost controller and a turbo timer!

Yeah MBC is in the future as I listed, but no need for a turbo timer..I wouldn't beat on the car then shut it off...I've been in the turbo game long enough to know.

What about some nice speakers and a deck, maybe subs if you like that kind of thing.... since its ganna be your DD
