Trouble getting it in!.... 3rd gear

After working all summer to achieve my goal of a 12 sec pass I was disappointed at the track. For some reason I just can't seem to get I to third at higher rpms :/ all others will go in fine. I mean it will eventually go in but not easily it seems to almost grind or get hung up.
I checked ny shift linkage and the bushings where torn so I replaced them with skateboard bearings.
I thought that would fix it but nope still can't go right into third.

It almost feels like the clutch isn't disengaged but in every other gear it dose, could this be a syncro problem?
 
Yup it is a personal problem. But I was hoping to save over the winter to get head work done but I guess the trans may have to come out :(
 
Make sure your slave is good, I was having issues not long ago I got completely locked out of gears then it finally went in 2nd so I limped it home about 2 blocks, checked the slave and when I removed it , it had fel apart and I had never had a slave fall apart on me when I unbolted it from the trans, check your master make sure your system is bled properly, but if not then the trans will have to come off, it was even hard for me to get in gear sometimes and other times it was easy, replaced slave and its fine now... I guess I was just lucky it was an easy fix but you could also have that luck hopefully if you haven't already checked.
 
What rpm are you shifting at? Are you using nlts? Its probably a worn synchro and will only keep getting worse the more you do what your doing, I would take the trans out and repair it before you destroy it for good, but that's just my opinion!! And what is your injector duty cycle with those 560's, I think you will be maxed trying to hit 12's with those bro!
 
Sorry I need to update my Sig a little bit. Sorry. But I am on the td06 20g now with 950s, and yes the first time was using nlts then several other times later and I still had trouble. And I'm shifting at 7k and had nlts at 5.5... I think? So I guess a trans rebuild is my winter project.

Oh and my master and slave have both been replaced in the past 2 years. And it's only third gear at higher rpms.
