Hello fellow DSM'ers. I would like to introduce myself and give a little back story. My name is Joe and I purchase a 1990 Plymouth Laser RS turbo about a month ago, so dont let my sn fool you. I am not new to the site nor to DSMs but am new to turbos. My fist car was 96 eagle talon that i purchased back in 05. Loved that car and had it for seven years. It was by no means fast but I did/do love the style of the 2g's. I sold the talon in 2011 and purchased an 04 Neon r/t. Got into the neon scene and still do enjoy the car as a dd. Had been dieing to get back into a DSM for a while but wanted to do it right this time with a good platform. Would have liked to get an AWD car but when the laser popped up for sale on craigslist for $700 i could not pass it up.
The Laser is bone stock as far as i know. It has some issues but runs pretty solid. I drove it home from an hour away with no issues. Has 152k miles on the clock. There was 3'' of water in the floor due to a roof rack and and some bad door seals. I plan to fully restore the car back to factory condition and then add some go fast parts. Nothing over the top but who knows, maybe ill change my mind when the time comes. One thing is for certain, the car will be my weekend cruiser and will not see weather of any kind once i get it to where i want it to be.
now onto pics::

The Laser:
First thing that I did was gut the interior and dry out the car.
I hope to be around for a while and to get some good info from all of you here. As i said before, I am new to turbos and will be needing a lot insight when it comes to getting this thing back to its former glory. I hope to get a build thread up soon so that i can log my progress and get some help with issues in there.
Thanks for reading and look forward to getting to know everyone!!
