I`ve got a 4g63 Conquest and would be interested in all the options you considered when changing the steering rack and crossmember. I would like to lighten things up, but don`t know any good options.

Found a few people keeping the stock crossmember and using s 240 rack.

I love Starions...wish Mitsubishi would make another turbo RWD 2 door coupe. But that wont happen, Mitsubishi doesn't seem to lesson at all to what the public wants, they just build random piece of mediocre crap and hope it sells now days.

I have seen a LS2 swapped into one before with a turbo (don't remember what size) but it was single turbo. Thing looked like a hell of a blast to drive. So here's a question though, why the automatic trans? Oh and what are you going to do about gauges? Try to figure out a way to get the OEM ones to work, or just make your down gauge panel using aftermarket gauges?

*Edit* Please post lots of videos when done...Preferably with burnouts and donuts.

this one has a plan for a 76mm turbo.. same kit i built for an f body last year pretty much.. but for the auto.. everyone does the m6. not one person has an auto. also this will be a weekend warrior/track car.. sorry but fast 1/4 comes from autos not manuals. i think its the factor of saying i have a 4l80e in that car LOL. but autos are fun. my 02 c5 coupe with some trans work beats a 450hp z06 on the street and runs 11.2 in the 1/4. the z06 will never see the 11's. just some reference and the z06 is lighter and puts down 70 more hp to the ground

as far as gauges i have that covered.. of course the engine gauges will be easy. but the speedo i bought an electronic speedometer that i can use the original output shaft speed sensor that the pcm sees and just calibrate it.. trying to keep the dash as original as possible but figured a nice set of matching gauges in the stock location wouldnt hurt it that bad.. using a b&m magnum shifter. new challenger srt8 seats. maybe build a cage for it while i have the material because im building a cage for our race 2g this week. figured i would do 2 at once. this car will be chrysler,gm,ford when its all said and done.. im going to use a foxbody brake booster and master cylinder setup

also everything i build is usually my personal preference. i build them because its what i want. which tends to be different then what most people would do.. my personal 2g is a 2.3 11.5 c/r aluminum rod, 67mm hx40 bolt on, auto awd.. again personal preference.. ohh and a pro shot fogger system on top of that

Is the foxbody MC & booster smaller by any chance? What`s the MC bore?

yes the booster is. its smaller diameter but thicker. dont know the bore of it but ive used these before to swap on other random things and they work good
