This year we entered the SAT class at shootout with our F3SA turbocharger on Tyler's already record-breaking car. We had a flat that we had to repair and on one run the coupler blew off, but we fought through it and the car just kept getting better and better!

Our fastest run just happened to be in the final round, smashing out a 9.63 @ 145mph!

Sounded like it came as an early win. Good job guys on stepping it up a notch.

What kind of times where the other cars running in that class??

Thanks!! closet to me was William Breeze in English racings old 1G that I think he owns now? He was running mid 10s. I think his best was a 10.42ish.

What rpm did you set the stutter box to? what was the launch psi?

congrats on the win!

Launching at 3800ish and 10-12psi, Thanks!

Nice job! The car looked great and ran flawlessly all weekend. You make it look easy, although as others found out, it's not. Good luck and keep up the good work! :thumb:

Thanks man! had a flat after first round we had to fix, and a coupler came off in second round, but with a little luck we made it work. I hurt something in the drive-line as well.. thinking a U-joint or the t-case.

Nice work! Was there a payout for this class?

Congrats! Always nice to see MI racers representing at the SO! :rocks: :hellyeah:

Ya I think he still owns it. Has the HTA record.

That's nuts with the new snail its almost a full second over the competition. To think you guys could've done it with just the 16g LOL.

Congrats again Tyler and the crew at Force Engineering!

Thanks Shane! It was good chatting with you and getting to see you make some passes.

The 16g would have made it a better race.. I'm probably going to put that back on here real soon.

Screw that, put the 14b on and show me how it's supposed to be done!

We'll see.. maybe when you come up I'll throw it on and we can both go at it!

Tyler. I was able to squeeze out a 10.33 in qualifying. Not good enough though LOL. how much you charge me to modify my hta68 into one those bad boys you got?

10.3 is moving in the air we had! I'll send you a pm about the other charger.

Ya get that 14b on there. Lets see what auto/meth combo does.

yeah I need to do that. I'm taking the next couple weeks away from the car to spend some time with my girl. Has been alot of late nights getting things around for shootout.

All this talk bout doing work with lil turbos is awesome!! Congrats on the times.

curious on the trickery going on the 2step, brake lights go off once the 2nd beam hits, car doesn't move and i stop hearing the 2step bang almost like a TBrake

If not a transbrake then some type of button to something. Watch his hand come up right before he launches. I have run a good many transbrakes in my cars over the years and release the button the same way. Could be something locking the brakes down, I don't know but it sure looks like a button release. Either way CONGRATS on the new time!!! :D

I have 2 Line locks off the master cylinder ran to a button. The button also runs the launch limiter in my Dynatech. I prestage on the limiter in DSMLink, and its so inconsistent that I change to the limiter on the dynatech when I stage. This also allows me to pre-stage at a lower rpm and boost limit and then progress into the higher limiter so its easier on the engine if someone was to leave me hanging at the light.

Good job noticing my hand! Thanks!
