Been a honda guy my whole life and recently picked up a car ive always liked. The eclipse gsx. Im hooked already.

Say goodbye to reliabilty! LOL

I know i already have spent more time working on it to keep it drivable than actually driving it! But oh the fun ive had already! I bought as a project that somebody else started but never finished. No its up to me to get it back to the condition if deserves to be in

Even tho you do have to get your hands dirty, it will always beat driving a honda. None of my civic friends know shiet about working on cars because their car never breaks down due to lack of power.

Trust, hondas will break down too if they had that many parts, and dished out the same numbers.

My dsm has tought me everything i know about cars and i love this car even more for that.

eff reliablility when it comes to pushing it.

These cars dont end with a intake and farty exhaust.

We have a slow Base platform, where everything is undersized but can easily be upgraded when you want to go fast for the easiest way to haul ass :hellyeah:

sorry if that doesnt make sence.. im abit tipsy :p

For 8 years I spent an insane amount of money on hon-duhs. Then I purchased a 93 gsx, and never looked back. What sold me was when my buddy and I first took the head off of my evo 8 motor and saw the "solid" deck, and don't even get me started on the size of the ports. Man I love me a 6 bolt! Like someone said earlier "Welcome to the dark side."

I built a 90 DA Integra. I did a ls/vtec w/ a B16 head. eagle rods, acl's, JE pistons 8.5 to 1, supertech valves/springs, Garrett 60-1, blah blah blah.... It had some power, even with a phantom grip, but AWD>FWD. It was a fun go-kart. BTW the DA's had a better wheel base for road racing than any civic. The australian and euro specs were AWD. Next time you see a DA, check out the tunnel where the driveshaft goes. Kinda cool, huh? I am still considering, in the future, to swap a GSX powertrain into a DA to layeth the smackdown on the vtec crowd. LOL

Nice. How much you pick it up for?

Picked er up for 2500

Nice ride. What Honda did you own?

Owned many of them from h22 swapped cr-x to ls/vtec teg and a b16 all motor civic. Im used to getting my hands dirty cause i did all my own work but truth be told none of them were as fun (or fast) as my dsm is. And its not even finished!! Im just getting started!!

That was just a few of MANY that ive owned now time to killem all with boosted awd!

Well your in luck because after you get the boost itch, there is a really good shop right around the corner called Force Engineering to hook you up! Located in Plainwell.
