Got my oil leak figured out last night. One more little issues to clear up before it is time to get rolling. I absolutely can not wait. I think my wife is actually getting sick of hearing DSMs and Evos on our TV. I don't think that I have turned youtube off in 3 days.

Got my confirmation for friday and monday off work yesterday! Hope I can figure out my ignition break up under boost problem before then. Regardless, I be loading the spyder up and hauling its ass down there thursday afternoon with the Wisconsin guys!

Just got word from /J that he will be making a DVD out of this years event again! Said he was gonna try to make this one even better!

Rock on. Another Shootout DVD is going to be killer. I am getting so pumped. Less than 3 weeks to go!

Does anyone know the rules on if you need a cut off switch for relocated batteries? Some places require you to have one some dont.

Don't worry about the cut off switch. Worry about the proper clothing and helmet.

Will the standard NHRA autostart and 7 second timeout be implemented on the pro tree in the DSE class? I really hope it is. In my opinion it's the only way to keep things fair. 5-speed cars trying to burn down the automatics or automatics taking 10-15+ seconds to stall up isn't right. Again, in my opinion.

Sounds good. Ive got a street bike helmet i bought a couple years ago that is DOT and snell appoved.

Will be there early afternoon Saturday and all day Sunday... flying into Cleveland. Don't even know for sure where I'll be sleeping (if I get any sleep) but hey, doesn't matter right? This should be fun.

..Snell 2005? Most DSM's I see that have battery relos have the external cut-off but fail tech because they don't put it in a sealed box.
