Pic of the wastegate added to the manifold and the charge pipe from the turbo to ic. My -16 weld fittings showed up today, so ill make the water end tanks part of the ic tomorrow.

Thanks Matt. My car and the 4g mustang should be finished and on the track in about 2 weeks. If testing goes decently smooth they'll be at the shootout.
 
Barring anything unforeseen, it will be. I've let it sit the past 2 months but am breaking it back out this weekend to make sure everything is still up to par and to turn the boost up finally. Should be a good turnout this year!
 
Sounds good, it's looking like a good shootout for sure.

Made a water outlet for the thermostat side of the head last night. I have one of Andrews nice billet pieces for it, but I couldn't bring myself to drill it for the temp sensor.

This is all just out of control!!!!!!! Amazing work!!!! I really like the AWIC, what coolant pump will you be using? will you use a heat exchanger or just a reservoir????? Awesome bro!

We will see, I will be there either way. Lots of last minute changes going on to my car right now I won't pull what I did last year and bring a car thats not ready to embarrass myself.

Are you going to put your trans cooler in the ice box?
No the trans cooler is not in the ice tank. We don't have issues with trans temps, but if its too cold the car takes forever to stall.

Got quite a bit done on the car today. Welded up a diff, put the driveline in and the ff t case brace, new wheel bearings in the front, etc. Now just needs to make a fuel cell, finish the wiring, run the water lines and wait for the cams to show up.
 
Made a fuel cell that sits down on the k member, holds a bit over 2 gallons. Cams didn't show up yet, so went ahead and threw the cams in that we're in the black talon for the time being. Rest of the -16 stuff will be here Tuesday, then just finish the wiring and it'll be running.

For those of you not following the cdubracing page on fb, we got the mustang running. Aligning the front end tomorrow then testing it on Friday.

So looking at your engine I noticed you aren't running coolant lines to the turbo (at least from what I could tell) so I assume you're running a journal bearing turbo?

Also, I see no thermostat housing and no thermostat or sensors. How are you getting your water temps?

Hope you get this thing done, dialed in, and ready to bring to the shootout!

One more thing, there isn't a lot of information about a 16v setup for DSM's, I seen a few articles on hotrod forums. Could you shed some light/information on this?
