So I took my cruise control cable out and un bolted the bracket where its attached to the firewall. Took it out and had the wire that runs to the pedal snapped on me (shit luck). Luckily my friend let me use his old cruise control setup so I hooked it all up and now you start my car and it revs at 3k then drops and idles at 1500 then if you rev it, its stuck there so obviously my throttle body is stuck now. Is it the cable to the TB that's too tight or what ? I really need help with this one guys.

Take a picture. open up the cruise box and see if it binding in there. just have a friend look at the cable movement while u press on the gas.

Sounds like the cable is pulled too tight, maybe even pulling the throttle body butterfly open a little. Look at where it's connected to the TB and make sure it's closed all of the way. Also, check the cruise control cable box, because the cable might not be connected correctly inside of that, since on a cruise set up, it's not one cable from the pedal to the TB.

Unfortunately I know it's not as simple as cleaning my tb out I know I messed up with something else I honestly didn't touch my throttle body itself just the cables and the cruise control box
