My friends niece ran here Eclipse into the ground and replacing the head, water pump and radiator doesn't make sense. They're scraping the car this weekend and I was wondering, after the rims, seats and alternator, what else should I take? I know I need a power lock for my drivers door, I read the rear control arms and say bars are an upgrade for awd but found nothing about a gst, taking the mirrors with tweeter housing would be cool, but I'm sure I'm missing some things, let me know what.
Thanks

Did a search, but so much other stuff comes up, anybody have a writeup or link to one on using and flashing with the 3g ecu, it's off a 2.4 auto for what it's worth. Guessing I need to do some wiring and get a openport cable.

And thanks to all for the replies

I would take the whole car, but I live in philly and have no driveway, sucks, especially because the body of the car is in amazing shape, I've got posts on craigslist for my boy, try to get him a couple dollars since I'm using his driveway, tools and car and taking what I'm gonna take.

Isn't the front upper ball joint assembly a direct fitment for us 2G owner's? Someone correct me if I'm wrong please...

Rtm racing says this on their website, the 2g sway bars arent compadible with the 3g suspension, otherwise everything else bolts on. (Control arm wise) they are tubular.

If it's an auto you can't use the ECU for the swap. Only a manual trans 01-05 GS (4cyl ONLY) will work. Auto ecu's are way different, and the V6 ecu will not work either. (Former 3g owner, currently running evo and 3g ecu's on all my dsms).

There is no upper ball joint on the front of a 3g. The rear suspension is identical to a DSM in design, the front is 1g/evo style macpherson.

AUTO/Manual ECU's are interchangeable.. The only difference between auto and manual computers is the auto has its own tcu for the transmission but ECU's are completely identical..

Anyone correct me if im wrong.. (im pretty tipsy)
