You know, im not positive, but i dont think it should free spin too easily. It has seals on it and that right there creates a bit of resistance. Its been awhile since ive had my belts off but i dont recall being able to spin it and it continues to spin like a wheel off the ground or something.... It should not be difficult however. And if you put the pulleys on backwards, well, thatd be kind of noticeable LOL

It should spin easily without any sticking points but I wouldn't expect it to keep spinning after you take your hand off of it if that's what you meant.

Kind of dumb answer LOL, but Make sure you check the length of the bolts you used to bolt on the pullies. I had this before and ended up 1 bolt was a little longer than others.

So if the bolts are longer than stock that will cause it to not spin like it should this thing aint spinning at all I cant force it either

Yes, depends on the length of the bolts you are using. The longer they are, the harder it gets to a point where you will have to break something to spin it. I lost 1 and had three bolts and to be honest, I used a spare oil pan bolt (because they are short). It spun like easy as it should. At first, I thought pullies were other way around, even I swap motors in my dsms all the time, Just a dumb bolt LOL. Did you use the orignal bolts for the water pump or different set?

Sorry, I do not remember the size but take 1 bolt off oil pan and get the same size from any auto parts or home depot stores. They will do the job.
