I plan on FINALLY swapping out the intake manifold and knock sensor this weekend. Maybe hang out. What is the local hang out spot? Luby's? What is Fush Damn?

lubys is more of a weekend thing or late-night. but idk anywhere else me and some guys went to big dam bridge yesterday. had fun

Infiniti G35 Sold. I miss her already.

But I scored a crazy deal on Ebay with this SLK55. The Talon is still my hobby.

Picked up ECULink (DSMlink) V.3 Full with Socketed ECU for $350 :hellyeah:

I need blinker switch (headlight switch) please.

You need the whole multifunction switch. Il see what I can do.

Tan trunk carpet, right tan tail light access cover, right door interior mirror piece (triangle shaped), and probably some other things

All grey black here buddy. You could probably dye it.

In the middle of my manifold swap. Took two hours to get the stock unit off!! Bottom bolts are hard to get to!! So while the manifold is out, I plan on replacing knock sensor, dropping the battery lower, removing EGR and EVAP. Anyway I have a few questions.

1 - I am missing one rubber injector rail seat. Anybody have one?

2 - I have a 98 so I think the EVAP can is in the front bumper? Is it?

3 - Two lines running to the EVAP are under the battery. Can I disconnect those? Do I need to cap the line coming from the gas tank? I guess it removes vapor?

3/8 neoprene grommet from home depo the are so cheap. Might as well replace them all.

Frustration!!!

I completed the battery drop. Autozone 26R battery is required. I tapped the EGR hole and plugged it with a 1/8 pipe bung. But I cant install the JMF coil bracket cause I cant get the AC compressor off! I have three bolts loose but I cannot get to the lower driver side compressor bolt. I tried swivels, extensions, rachets, renches, everthing I got. I can put my hand on it, but no way to fit a tool in there because of the frame. Am I missing something here??

The AC lines are still attached. I didnt want to discharge into the air. Will removing the lines give me more room?

If you get that compressor off and its still useable i will buy it from you.

Im keeping AC. I just have to remove the compressor and bracket to put the coil pack bracket behind the AC bracket then bolt everything back down.

Is this with your intake still off? I've vented countless AC systems into the atmosphere. Just get you a suicide hose take the can off of it and bleed it. Or if your really brave disconnect a line... Not recommended

Have you tried getting underneath the car? I would put an easy bolt back in there and try to get it out. Because if its that hard to get out and you have the weight of the compressor on that one bolt. Your in for one hell of a fight.

The gsx is now for sale. 5,000 the way it sits. The AN fuel line leaks and there is a spinning/knocking sound coming from the engine bay. I've heard several different theories as to what it could be. It's not worth my time anymore and I would much rather someone on here buy it so it's not ran to shit. I would go lower on price but that's what I need to get out of debt on it.
