just have a few questions of the differences between the Quartermaster and the PPT twin disc.

They seem to be basically the same thing

PPT:

Quartermaster:

the only difference that I can see is the PPT has more options for different disc material.

I have a Quartermaster in my EVO and I have been very happy with it. The only thing is it doesnt really last very long. But it does hold the power just fine.

I'm wanting a clutch for my HX40 setup that I'll be running in the near future. And was just wanting to know the differences between these two clutches.

thanks,
John

OK guys installed the OS GIKEN R2CD in place of the PTT and I have to say its the best aftermarket clutch I have ever used, owned, or driven. It has a stock like engagement, it doesn't rattle, and down shifting does not require rev matching. PTT still up for grabs if you want it. The only con is the pedal is initially stiffer but the ability to slip it and all the other attributes more than make up for its approximately greater 15% stiffness. It worked so well I pulled the RPS carbon to carbon twin disk out of my supra and replaced it with a R3C OS GIKEN. If your going to make serious HP and want to a street-able clutch then this is it. Email me if yo have any other questions at [email protected].
