Unfortunately Big Boy swapped a 2JZ, but his 4G63 ET deserves to stay in the 4G63 list. There are a few cars in the list that are in retirement.

I knew right after they kicked the rod out of the block at Orlando that Pepe Loco and company were switching that car to a 2JZ. It was "hardly" hush hush. Both Gabytech and myself are really involved in who does what in the rwd world, and we both pride ourselves in knowing pretty much everyone who does anything 4G63 and rwd. We plan to make this list by the end of the summer with my Corolla. It would be really nice if we could do it at the Pan American Nationals!

I have hope of making quality passes. If one (or more!) of them happen to be quicker than 8.00....then it's been a great season.

UPDATED 4/18/2013. #5 Jerry Racing ran a personal best yesterday...

Time to add Darren Thomas to spot #39. He just went 8.50 @161mph at the Norwalk Ohio IFO event. He may go even faster cause he said that it spun badly off the line. See here for details/pics/videos on the car... http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/drag-strip/414393-8s-bust.html

I've noticed on one of my threads that after some time the original posted thread becomes locked for some reason

Makes it tough when it's a FS thread and you want to update sold parts for potential buyers

After a certain amount of time (I want to say 3 months?) the posts automatically lock from being edited. PM Brian or Paul, they may be able to turn it off for this thread. I'm not 100% sure if they can or not but its worth a shot.

So what are the requirements for making the top 50? I realize it has to be with a 4g63 but what about chassis? Any chassis counts?

Yes, it could be a 4G63 powered unicycle and it would still count.

Is this list still up to date? Guess I need to run a little quicker than my 8.85 to get into the top 50

This list is definitely out of date. Jeff Bush went 7.90s, Willshire went 6.50s, etc. Gabe may have forgotten about the list here since he keeps up with it on Facebook instead.
