Haha it shouldnt be to bad. The original motor though only a 1.1 is all cast iron' head block all that so its actually pretty heavy . Not as heavy as the 4g63 but not as durastic of difference as people think. Also the rear end and the fuel cell that going to bigger them the original tank will hopefully help a little but they are naturally light in the ass and that why alot of people wont put disk brakes in the rear. It causes them to spin out under heavy braking like your ripping the ebrake lo.l its prob ganna be a death trap

This is pretty sick. Deff need to get this done and take it to the shoot out.

Just giving a little update and a few pics I havnt been able to do much. Still in need of a pipe bender and options are buying a jd2 manual bender or the rotary model 52 pipe bender from jb2 which is a little more then what I make in a month LOL. so im in a bit of pickle there, but I have been adding and taking stuff off just to check clearences to see what fits and what I need to modify to stuff this in a stock length nose. So far I need to nost a 3 inch section of the fire wall fpr the intake. Also need to make a tubular manifold the sets the turbo somehere other then the front of the block if I wanna run thh holset.

The view from the pasenger seat

Haha I donno I dont have much into them, I traded a chevy 4.8 for the starion and the gst the kid thought was blown up..I came over and hooked up the cam sensor and the #2 cyl plug wire back to the coil and drove off haha he was bummin and I think I scored a pipe bender :D haha and it a conquest how am I ganna turn that sexy ol piece of 80s down

Dont worry theres a method to my madness I bough gst ### I kbew what was wrong was dumb stuff.now im ganna turn it for a profit and with that comes more fund for the mini. Hopefully:pray: I could go to a local shop that gave me accessto a exhuast bender but I really hate how Iit leaves the dent.

Still waiting for dies but I got the bender 16 days sooner then it was predicted to be here so shoundn't be long.
Also have decided im probably going to go with a clubby nose on the mini and that will eliminate the need for me to have to move my stearing rack. Also think it looks more agressive

Nope they are a rotary draw bender with no mandrel for the ibside of the pipe but thet are great for cages there is almost no depression left mine being .120 there was no dpression that I could see and most guys use these benders for rock crawlers minr will bend a 2" od 1/4 wall pipr nore the sufficient enough for a cage and it was 300 with no stand ir dies the dies are from like 100-250 depending on size of tubing.

And for and sorry anyone who is waiting for an update I go to college full time plus work full time so I havnt had much time. Also thanks to some asshole on my street my garage (a shelterlogic portable garage on stick framed knee walls 4' high) was called in and I was forced to take it down so the project has came to a screaching hault. But still very excited and determined and there will be progress once I find a place to work on it for the winter

I really like this build. I am looking at doing something like this but not with a mini. Have you figured out which ecu wires are needed to make the engine run?

Nahh I havnt yet, i havnt even got the car there yet but ill be sure to post it as I do it. Yeah im sick of playing game me and my buddy both rented a bay each and he a certified tig welder, we are looking into gettibg into the fab part of buisness. The next tool is a burn table, I have an in with the engineers at my work and a couple have built there own cnc so with solid works and a little training I should have a good set up. definitly more to come just need to get every thing moved to the shop :) sgould be with in the next few weeks ill have the bender hydro conversion done and dies. In the mean time Im ganna continue modeling the aubframes in solif works to figure out a good horizontal coil over set up
