Hey guys my dsm threw a cel today for for a injector circuit. All my cylinders are firing so what exactly does this mean. Also yesterday it started to overheat pretty good but only during idle. I thought that was because my front mount was blocking airflow. It didn't do this before but now its starting to get pretty warm out. Could these two be related because the cel just came on today. Thanks for the help.

Do a search on Google. Cel code 41 injectors 1g. You will come up with a thread from here DSM tuners. Read through it. It sounds like most people have the same questions as you. The thread is very informative. There are a couple of other threads that I read through all under same thread title found here on DSM tuners. I don't want to give bad advice so just read through all the threads you should come up with some ideas for where to look next. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Good luck.

Not sure if this will help but I just cured my code 41 a couple days ago, it was a damaged wire on the #1 injector harness. Im sure anything from the ECU to the coil pack and possibly the CAS can throw that code, although CAS codes should be recorded as crank shaft position sensor malfunction in link.

It could be as simple as a faulty injector lose clip/corroded injector plug or worst case ECU damage.

It seems this can be related to heat also, simply because electronics don't like heat. You can clear the code in link and see if it only comes on during high temps..

Did you get your cel code 41 resolved? If so, what was it that fixed it? If you don't mind me asking?

I'm having the same problem with my car. I ohmed the injectors and they all are sitting between 2.5 or 2.6. Is there a way to ohm the injector wirers to see if they are getting full voltage?

Use a noid light on the injector clips.

so lets say you do a noid test on the injector clips...3 out of 4 are malfunctioning as in one of them is fully on no pulse, one is off no light, one is barely pulsing on/off and the last one is working properly...

ECU is good, and sending fuel(flooding engine as soon as key is turned to on position not engine on and not allowing engine to start due to liquid making it harder for the motor to turnover.)

Brand new 1000cc precisions(were dialed in on the aem ems1 that im running.

1g fuel rail

aeromotive Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator

walbro 255lp

(Fuel Working properly)

LETS JUST SAY THE NOID LIGHTS THAT WERENT WORKING PROPERLY HOW WOULD WE ACTUALLY BE ABLE TO FIX THE WIRES IN THOSE CLIPS? OR WOULD IT JUST BE EASIER TO SWAP IN A GOOD WORKING CONDITION ENGINE HARNESS OF THE PROPER YEAR OF VEHICLE/WORKING CAS,ECU,MECHANICALLY.

SORRY NOT TRYING TO THREAD JACK THIS BUT IM IN A SIMILAR SITUATION WHERE I DID THE NOID LIGH TEST MAYBE THIS CAN HELP GET A CLOSE ANSWER TO BOTH OF OUR PROBLEM. :thumb:
