So while i am driving with my wheels, XXR 527s 17x8.25 +35 wrapped in 225/45 tires, my car seems to go from one side of the road to the next, kind of like my alignment is off really bad. And also at 55 mph to 60mph there is a weird vibration that i can feel in the steering wheel and in my gas pedal. Its not a huge vibration and you can't visually see it but you can feel it.

When i first got these wheels, they drove fine, i had no issues with them. Then my two rear tires got wore down because my coils were adjusted to low, so i replaced them.. Ever since they rode weird.. Also since i have had these wheels, i have snapped a lug stud in the front, not sure if this has anything to do with the issue. and also, my lug nuts come loose randomly in less than 600 miles, and i have to retighten them..

I recently put my stock wheels on 16' GST wheels, and the car drives like a dream. The car drives straight, and there is no vibration.

What could cause this? And what could cause the vibration?

Seeing as the car drives fine with your stock wheel/tire combo, I think it is safe to assume that the rims/tires are the problem.

The lug nut I would guess would be unrelated, but would have to hear more about it in order to say for sure. (ex. How it broke, was it broke when tightening, did it just break and you noticed later, etc.)

Where did you have the tires put on and how were they balanced? On wider/larger wheels/tires it is always recommended that you opt for "Road Force Balancing" as opposed to the standard wheel balance. It generally costs about double per wheel when compared to standard, but it will allow whoever has put the tires on to be much more accurate and eliminate almost all issues with running wider/larger rims and tires on a car.

Another issue is that one of the rims could have some curb rash or warpage. Did you ever rotate the wheels to see if that shifted the problem?

If it were me, I would start by first inspecting the wheels for problems. Then I would put them on and check to make sure that there was no rubbing. Turn the wheel lock to lock and visually crawl under the car with a flashlight and confirm that nothing is touching. Then, once all is confirmed good, drive it for a short distance. Then rotate the two front wheels to the back and vice versa and see if that changes anything. If not then I might try a road force balance as a last resort.

Hope that helps!

ok first off i would take the wheels and put them on a balancer and watch them to make sure there not bent. if one of your wheels is bent just a little then toss it on the back right but make sure you swap the tire and wheel when you do your rotation. get them rebalanced and make sure that your torqued down right because if you dont torque down your lugs they can come loose and that can lead to you breaking a stud off.

Wheels don't randomly come loose every 600 miles. Either they don't fit, or you don't know how to bolt a wheel on.

could be a worn piece of your suspension adding to your tire issue, most bigger repair shops have a road force machine where they can mount the tire to the machine and test for flaws in just the rims and tires..

Maybe he just needs to buy longer lug nuts to fit those aftermarket rims?

Some rims come with/require longer nuts due to the design of the rim.

There is no need to bash the OP's ability.

OP, after thoroughly checking out the rims/tires etc. for problems, look into longer lug nuts and possibly some 242 blue loctite on the ends of the studs before you put the lugs on to fix the coming loose issue. DO NOT use red loctite though LOL. Otherwise you will be stuck with those rims for a while.

There are different lug seats. Generally, aftermarket wheels will have an angle, and the OEM may be flat or rounded.

if you aren't using the right lug nut type, they will come lose very quickly and the wheel can fall off.
