I am sure I am not the first person to encounter the Manifold to turbo bolts coming loose on a 16g turbo. I have tried everything from locktite to lock washers to globbing high temp gasket maker all over the place. My next option is to drill the turbo thread out completely and do a nut and bolt combination and possibly even a cotter pin to keep this thing tight. My only issue is there isn't much clearance to put a nut on in the back bolts.

My question is has anyone found a good fix after they started having this issue?

What kind of gasket are you using? I always had issues with bolts coming loose when using graphite core gaskets. I only use the MLS style now.

Using the steel (?) ones that jacks transmissions sells. I was told they are OE and they look like the one I got from mitsubishi once.

Btw you meeting us in castle rock tomorrow?

I mean this kind of gasket. The one you usually get at parts stores.
