I am having major lean problems in boost, but according to evoscan my injector duty cycle is only reaching 60% at 4500 rpm. My AFR is 12.5 acording to my innovate MTX-L at only 15 psi on a small 16g. My target AFR in ecuflash is 11. I have tried to up the fuel pressure, only resulting in a rich idle. I have tried to increase the injector latencies, also resulting in a rich idle. I had the same problem with my stock 450cc injectors. I have a new fuel lab fuel filter, fuel lab FPR, and walbro 255 pump. I did not do a rewire, might this be my issue, it is my only thought?

My best guess: AFPR. Its not rising 1:1 like it should. i.e. at 15psi you should have roughly 58psi fuel pressure right? I would test the afpr witht he car off and pump running. I bet you have a leak or its installed improperly.
Just a thought. GL

I will most deffinetly take a look at it. Ill run 15psi through the line and run the fuel pump just to double check.

I also am not sure if the maf has been played with, I am guessing maybe my MAF needs some scaling, not too sure how to do it or if it could be a problem? some more insight would be great!

I recommend ecmlink v3. You could correct this problem in 15 seconds with the injector settings and fuel sliders.

you can find v2 and v2.5 for 200$ if youre diligent.

what kind of injectors are you using?

evo 8 560cc injectors. I have no issue tuning with ecuflash. I can mess with scaling and latencies, but i cannot solve this issue.

If his problem is mechanic tuning wouldn't really solve his problem. Just like Jafro said in one of his early video's, get your system working right and then start tuning.

FPR was tested today. Works perfect. So new fuellab Fuel filter, walbro 255 pump, 6 AN fuel lines, and 560cc injectors. I really dont think my fuel flow is an issue, unless i need a pump rewire. Has anyone needed to scale the factory MAF, because i know that can solve my issue, just worried about the dangers of it.

What are your injectors scaled at? Scale them smaller. If it's still lean, scale them even smaller. Keep going until you reach your target AFR when you are at WOT. Then once you have that dialed in, adjust the injector latencies to get your idle afr correct. Then do some cruising and get the mid trims in check using the MAF smoothing table. It's all here...

I don't think a rewire is your issue. 560's don't have enough flow to require the full amount of fuel a 255 can flow. I'm running 880's on an EVO9 pump (about 205lph) that hasn't been rewired pushing 15psi on my T25 without issues. Yes, I know those injectors are overkill but a 450 died and I had those laying around so I used ECUFlash to dial them in.

You can also correct this problem in ECUFlash in 15 seconds... He's about 13% off on his WOT numbers, so scale the injectors down 13-18% and try it. If it's too rich, scale them up a few percent. If it's still too lean, scale them down a few percent. So I don't know why you'd recommend the OP toss his 98-99 ECU tuning setup for DSMLink. If you have a 98-99 car, I think it's a waste of about 300 bucks to get V3 ECMLink. You can get a fully tunable setup for about 225 with a 98-99 car, or even less if you find a used Tactrix cable. Then you can use that setup to tune as many flashable ECUs as you want, and some EVOs, maybe even Subarus if you get the other flash plug. Unlike DSMLink which is one setup, one car. There's some write-ups and support for the Ceddymods the flashable ECUs use. Sure not nearly as much as ECMLink & ECMLink is much easier to use, but to save 300 bucks I think the learning curve is worth it. I have a DSMLink V2 sitting in a box somewhere I played around with and it was really easy to use. But I already had some experience in ECUFlash so I bought and put a flashable ECU in my 95 & my 99 already has one... The flashable ECU has many more options than V2 so that's why I went with it.

I agree. I really didnt think to lower my injector scaling, since it is 560, and thats what the injectors are. I will give it a shot right now. I will try drecreasing them to 550cc. 15% would be 470cc which seems a little low.

I have my 680 injectors scaled to 465... I added .300 to all the latencies. Then I subtracted 10% from the latencies. AFR's are 11.0:1 +/-.4 and LTFT Low is within +/- 2%... I did a WOT pull at 22psi falling to 18psi by redline and my IDC's were in the mid 60's. Weird, I know. I have a thread on here because I thought it was odd. But if it works, it works.

There's more than one way to get your AFR's to where you want so you can either rescale the MAS or the injectors.

Good news! dropped them down to 545 cc injectors. Bumped my base fuel pressure up to 45 psi. and I am getting damn near close to 11.1 in full boost. bumped the boost up to 21 psi and it still still seeing 11.1-11.4, with duty cycle reaching 90%. Should i look for another set for injectors, is having to scale them lower anything to worry about?

On the stock wastegate actuator, you probably won't get much more boost out of it. Unless you get an external wastegate or a stronger actuator to run mor eboost, I'd say you're ok with the injectors you have. You might have to redo your fuel trims due to increasing your fuel pressure. People scale down their injectors all the time. It's common.

Good for you. Im not familiar with ecuflash or whatever your using but in link you have to scale injectors down too. my 1000cc pte's are actually about 940cc flow. Thats the number i have to use to make it work right. Anyway, you got 'r up n running good so thats all that matters!
