After searching and searching online I've yet to figure out why my car won't go into gear while its running.
Things that got done with the tranny out: new clutch, TOB, pressure plate, resurfaced flywheel.
After all that my car still was having issues so I bought a new slave and master cylinder and installed them tonight and bled the hell out of the system. After adjusting the clutch pedal I could either get it so the car would start easy and not go into gear or I could adjust it so it would be a pain to start but it would drive until I stopped then it would continue to not go into gear.
The engine is out of a early 96 talon tsi AWD and the transmission is out of the 97 spyder. So would this be the cause of my issues? since I'm unsure if there is a difference in clearance between the transmission and the motor where it bolts on or between the flywheel and the crankshaft. Any help on this would be much appreciated
