I searched a bit but couldn't find much.
My AIT's going through the traps are around 150-160F.
Track temps around 85-90F.
Running 30psi on a FP3052 (gt30R) turbo.
Are my AIT's decent?
Thanks!

Are you on speed density or a mass air sensor?

If you have them that high on speed density, and the temperature sensor is after the intercooler, you're having problems with your intercooling. You should see the temp come up as your boost goes up. More, hotter air flow will increase the temperature quickly.

If you are seeing that from a MAF sensor, your MAF is really hot.

In either case I'd use a laser thermometer and see what's going on around your IAT for it to be in the 150's. I've only ever seen that once, on speed density, with a 14b making as much boost as it could make through a stock side mount intercooler. Touching the IC pipes or intake manifold would scald your hand. Bad news for power.

I am running AEM EMS speed density. Temp sensor is GM and installed after the intercooler, about 10 inches before the throttle body.

When logging a 1/4 mile or dyno pull, AIT starts around 100F (heat soaked), then climbs lineraly up to 150-160 by the end.

What size intercooler is on there?
I'm assuming your ambient temps were somewhere between 80-100*
For example on my srt with a stock intercooler(~7"tall,2"thick) and a third pull at ambient temps around 70deg, aits would hit around 160deg on just a 3rd pull LOL
Switched to a spearco direct fit(7"tall, 3"thick), aits were reduced roughly say to about 120ish at 70deg ambient, the spearco is also said to actually flow too well, that air isn't in the core long enough
Threw in a big front mount roughly 12" tall and 3.5" thick and aits rarely go 10deg above ambient

I'm running a "600hp" intercooler from Slowboy Racing. It looks like a nice bar and plate core (iirc Slowboy used Garrett cores) and the core measures 24"x10.5"x3"

Id clean that IC out real good. Maybe some gas or paint thinner in it and make sure its not caked in oil. Thats the only thing it could be right? It has to be the IC.

On my 14b pushed pretty hard, the highest I ever saw was 118degrees. The run would start around 80 degrees or so. On normal I would see a 25-30 degree rise.

Is the turbo inlet just open or are you running an intake??

Make one of these or something of the sort. I saw a huge drop in air temp when I did mine.
