Will this transfer case work?

Hello DSMtuners
I just bought a 95 gsx 5 speed and the tcase is shot as for the output shaft is too.
I also have a spare trans and tranfer case for a 5 SPEED first gen gsx.
My question is, will the output shaft and Transfer case for the 1st gen work in my 2nd gen? Tabks for all replys!

You can use a 91-96 transfer case with a 95 trans , you cant use a 90 or 97-99 transfer case.

I have a 90 awd turbo trans that I want to take the outputsaft out and put it in my 95 trans. and use the transfer case. It's all 22 spline. will it work? or will the ratio be all messed up and cause more problems? thanks for your reply

Yes, that should be fine.

Alright sweet. This swap will save me a bunch of money. But I need to be a 100% positive that it will work since my trans has just been rebuilt. Is there any disadvantages to doing this swap?

The 90 just has a 22 spline count where the 91-96 has a 23. Internally there the same.
