I fiinally got my dsm up to Boostin Performance for some time on their mustang dyno today. Right off the street it was running really lean. Since the car had sat all winter after a summer of driving on E85 Devin suggested I have my injectors cleaned and flow tested. He has the equipment in house to do it so off came the injectors and in under an hour my injectors were flowing like new and the rollers where spinning again. My car had been street tuned by Boostin last summer and the first pull off the street netted 407/470@27psi. My long time goal had been 400awhp and before the tuning even started I had already reached my goal and needless to say everyone was surprised at the torque numbers. Next we upped the boost and did another pull. This time it made 411/492@29psi. Again the torque numbers were just amazing. We felt the turbo didn't have much HP left in it but decided to up the boost and shoot for 500 torque. The final pull of the day was 422/502@31psi. I was speechless. This car is an absolute torque monster and spools the turbo instantly on the street. There is nothing special about this turbo just and off the shelf E16G with the optional porting and flapper mod done that I have been running for the last 5 years. I also am using the FP 4" intake that is suppose to hurt flow to the turbo.

I really don't think there is anything left in this turbo so I plan on having some fun this summer and then finally getting the hx35 installed this winter.

Haha everyone loves my tail lights and thanks the power numbers are way more than I ever expected.

You think it would pull more without dropping off with larger cams or intake manifold?

I think the evo3 IM is perfect but the 264's are a bit small. I think the flapper mod is making it drop off more than anything.

Those are good numbers on a 16g even with a 2.4l. Any plans on going externally gated?

No plans to do anything else to improve this turbo setup. It's a great turbo and fun to drive on the street but I am at the point where I need/want a large frame turbo.

Gotcha. So what's next?

He said HX-35 Corey. haha

You gonna keep it twin scroll? It'd be sweet to see what a HX-35 twin scroll could spool like with a 2.4

Ridiculous amount of torque for that 16g too.

I have a 7blade hx35 that Justin rebuilt for me 2 years ago sitting in my garage along with almost everything I need to install it. I used the money I had for custom exhaust work to build a spyder gst for the g/f so the 16g is staying on for one final summer. I think the hx35 should be an even bigger torque monster on my car.

Yes it will be TS. IMO there is no other way to run a hx35!

Awesome numbers man! I keep swaying back and forth from meth injection and E85. This is definitely a +1 for E85 haha.

Those are some numbers to be proud of. Even more impressive that it was done on a mustand dyno. A log would be great too. I would love to look that over.

That is sick, Love the TQ, i did 410/440 with mine on a high mile 2.0L

Nice work.
