Well just from them adding a flex section shows its not precision built! And them lower welds look like they was placed on cold and not strong enough to withstand some abuse like the good brands!

your wanting to cheap out just get a Megan its not 3" but better then that junk!

Forget that piece of crap. The tubing might be stainless, but it's so thin walled it'll crack in no time. Punishment Racing is having a sale on one of there o2's right now for $100. It's a quality piece (unlike that one you linked to for $45 on eGay) and it supports one of our venders!

Apparently they don't know our MHI's can creep even with the internal flapper taken out?

Joking aside it's cheap enough to try I suppose. You might have to get the DP modified though.

In case none of you have seen it, that 02 housing requires a v-band down-pipe specifically for it. Friend of mine got one of these 02 housings for free, and just for giggles tried bolting it up to his v-band downpipe, and it pushed the downpipe so far down it scraped the ground.

Unless you already have a v-band downpipe or are a decent welder/fabricator pass this up and go with the punishment 02.

Here you go, awesome product for the price. I never did have an exhaust made after that o2 housing but they quoted me 150 bucks for 3 in all the way back, not bad in my opinion.

Nice it really does look decent for $50. Concidering the punishment is close to $300 seems like a real bargain.

Got the o2 housing for $50 shipped. 38mm wastegate $70 shipped and 3" vband flange kit for $20 shipped. Not a bad deal for $140 shipped. I'll update with fitment and quality.

Are you serious?! The MAJOR downfall of every custom fabbed exhaust piece I see is that it doesn't have a flex bellows in it. Look at ANY form of motorsports and they have some sort of slip joint or flex section to allow the metal to expand. It's going to move, it's a matter of physics, and the hotter it gets the more it expands. I'd rather have a properly designed thin wall exhaust than a beefy overbuilt unit that's only that way so it won't break itself.

Look at the New Turbofour drag header or any F1 or motorcycle design to see what I'm talking about.

Iv got one on my car and I like it. my father in law has a body shop so I modded my dp to a v-band flang and am pleased with how it fits and cam out ill post up a pic in abit

Hmm, I'm tempted to buy one of these and fab it up to fit my existing 3" downpipe, I'm sure it would work fine. I'd cut off the recirculated portion, weld up the hole and run an external dump, that's just me though.

I've only ever bought one and the flange, on the turbo side, was so warped it had to be milled to even be usable. I didn't have the car for much longer after that so i have no idea on longevity of the piece.

But it sure wasn't a "bolt on" application in my limited experience.
