It's only an 8point that I picked up a couple years ago from Dsmparts.com I'm having it cut out and installing a 10pt cage later on. The bar across the dash is the stock one.

Bro! I was wondering if you were updating about the car. Looks like this is where you have been doing it. I just went back through this whole thread and it blows my mind how many parts have been destroyed by the monster. Get that thing running in time for the world cup in November!;)

I'd love to have it ready for then but it wont be. Too much stuff left to do until then and not enough moneys!

So still slowly working on it.

I ordered plugs, wires, relay/fuse box, ETC... to get the harness wired up.

Started with the switch panel. Switches are Main, start, alternator, fan, fuel, lights. They each have their own fuse and relay now. Main switch triggers the Ignition and ecu/mpi. It also powers the other switches which trigger their own relay.

Should be fire / melting proof now compared to what I did have!

Also have the front brake lines ran. Hooked up the new Ebrake and reran the Staging brake lines. I still have to wait on more line for the rears.

Seeing that I don't really love to do wiring I am doing it all once and finally right this time.

Every component will be plug/play.

Fuse box, harness, gauges, switch panel will all be able to be pulled separately with out disassembling a mess of wires or ground points or splices!

I can't take credit for the box idea, I stole it from the 4x4 guys. But it still is pretty pimp!

Few wires started:

A couple more hours a swearing and yelling...

Finally 90% done and ready to mount in the car before everything else gets measured and set up.

I'm now on hold waiting for some pimp ass trays from Shane. They are going to be for the AEM and Spark tech Ignition.

I'm also waiting on the new Ignition harness and COP plates to come back from Spark Tech. Craig is hooking me up this year with a fresh clean harness and a COP plate to represent with!

Can't wait to fire this thing up again!

So sweet! I've been searching for your build thread for so long!!! So glad I've finally found it! Just pro-founded by the amount of times you have ripped it down and put it all back together. I love how your putting a little more interior back into the car.

Honestly this is not even the half of it! I had a more complete thread on dsmpurity.com the owner of the site sold everything and I lost all of my build. I saved most of it but this is only a fraction.

Did you consider upgrading to a 3G brake booster, master cylinder and fluid reservoir? It would be a breeze at this stage of your build and since you have everything out of the way to run the brake lines. Great build BTW.

Its just insane how much work you've done just in this small fraction. I could only imagine the entire project laid out in this thread. You even painted it yourself!! Wish I had the skills and resources to attempt this!! :thumb:

Never thought about it. I'm still on oem 2g brakes with autozone pads and have stopped the car fine at 150mph.

Do you have a link to someone installing one?

They are not a snug fit right now but I am going to bend them for a nice fit.

Made from 1/8" Aluminum.

Also had to put one of these in here so I can rerun all of the wiring for a correct fit!

And finally mounted the fuse box for a test fit.

who did you order from ?

Ok small update. All of the parts are here for the engine. Waiting on the pistons to return from being coated. They were done by Tirado Custom Coatings (TCC)

Mirror delete plates were powder coated by Justin's Powder coating.

This thing should be running near the end of may, Hopefully.... :ermm:

I do but I've been trying to sell them. Sucks though because most dsmers are cheap and don't want to spend money on them. So they will probably lay in the garage.

Mad Mike almost had a heart attack in this car ;) That was when it was only about 500whp.
