I picked this car up for $500, it has 49k org miles on it. Its been sitting in a garage for about 6 years. The PO got into an accident and took all the turbo stuff off the engine and attempted to drive it like that. I converted back and it runs like great. The damage to the body looked repairable, until i realized the firewall was bent, but I have sourced a shell that is in good condition for all the lower millage guts to go into.

800.00 for a 1992 Black TSI AWD 4g63T and spare 5speed transmission and a refurbished cylinder head car smoked real bad and owner didnt have time or money to invest in it clean interior and minor exterior mainly a few scratches :)

$20,000 out the door for my red 1990 Talon Tsi AWD when I bought it brand new in September 1989 in St. Paul, Minnesota. I had to wait until the dealer found the car for me. (I did not drive it in the winters in Minnesota so no salt corrosion). No moonroof or CD player, it has cloth seats, and the manual transmission. It has a July 1989 build date so no limited slip diff.

The front calipers were upgraded to the OEM DSM two piston brakes. The motorized seatbelts were replaced with OEM retracting belts with the matching OEM panels. The rear spoiler was replaced with an OEM spoiler that does not have a rear wiper cutout - so no rear wiper. The engine and turbo are completely stock. It has 2.5 negative camber at all four corners - it was set up to win in autocross events. The stock seats look brand new because I've used OMP seats most of the time while running it in SCCA SOLO II ESP.

As of today it has 123,323 miles and the stock interior looks great. It has been under a cover most of its life, even when parked at my workplace, so the rubber body seals are still good. And yes, I still have my Talon along with all the original parts after all these years. It is a well-built car and it seems to be as tight as when it was new. Due to all work and money put into it as well as the adventures I've had in this car over the last 23+ years (some of which I will never discuss in a public forum :shhh:) I'll never sell it.

Those of you buying these now have tons of aftermarket parts to choose from vs 20+ years ago when we had to fabricate everything for the Talon/Eclipse/Laser. The car is an incredible bang for the buck. :thumb:

1998 mistubishi Rs, manual 5 speed, with 120k miles and a stage 2 star turbo kit with mean 6 18" rims, new custom interior and body kit with a lowered suspension.........-$1900.

Picked up a 97 Spyder GS a couple weeks ago for $1700. Almost 150k miles, the top has some damage, body and paint are mostly good, still waiting to find out how bad the top leaks and where exactly (if any) water is pooling anywhere. Will have to also get the interior cleaned for $100, a new backseat bench and 2 new tires. Other than that, it's completely stock and seems to run okay (knock on wood!!!) although I had to put a new battery in it and the check engine light is now on.

Not sure if I got a decent deal or not, I haven't really been able to drive it yet. I've wanted this car since 1997 and they seem to be harder and harder to find unmolested in my area. I just hope I can afford to maintain it.

1995 Eagle Talon TSi odometer broke at 119,000 miles 3,800. Made a 5 hour trip easy and then the turbo blew a few days ago. :ohdamn:
