Ok so I bought a 93 talon tsi about 6 months ago, it was blown up when I got, so Ive been buildin a 6 bolt for it and basically redoin the entire car, It came with a autometer boost gauge and autometer pro-comp ultra lite afr gauge, my question is does this mean I have a wideband? And if i dont can I run a wideband o2 sensor with this gauge? I dont even know if the gauge is hooked up I havnt got the car ready to go yet, idk how to tell the difference In a wideband o2 and a narrowband o2 buy lookin at it, all i no is my o2 sensor has 4 wires two white, a gray, an a black

Lol thanks for all your input guys, and my guage dosent have the digital numbers just a light bar so guess its narrowband wich sucks, but Anyways I'll check out all the options you guys gave me and see what I like the best and can afford. Thanks again

Skip the LC-1, it's older, bulkier and more complicated to install. The MXTL is the newer version and is just as simple to install as the UEGO WB and calibration is as easy as unplugging the sensor from its harness.

All calibrations regardless of manufacturer or branding should be performed in open air for accuracy.

Another selling point for the innovate is that it is programmable for sweep ranges (min and max) as well as the led color change position.

It is overall a much better product but aem isn't too far behind. Both are the same price range.

Before the mtxl aem did have a leg up on the installation since the lc1 is a pain to install but was still worth the effort.

I will say to keep your stock narrow band sensor and not choose to run a simulated narrow band signal from your wide band if you are considering it.

Ultimately, it's your car and choice so get what you want. The information has been provided for your education.

Ok I just checked out a bunch of kits an I think the one I'm going with is the innovate Mtx to me it's sounds like the best way to go, and I can get it for $189 on MVP motorsports website, is that a deccent price for this setup? When u said keeping my stock narrow band did you mean just leave it where it is in the o2 housing and when I get the wideband put it in the bung after the down pipe like arnd where the cat would be if it was a stock exhaust? I have a full bullet 3in exhaust and it has a bung on the o2 housing and a bung father back like where the cat is suppose to be but isn't LOL, I just have a plug in this bung, so I should take te plug out and install it there?

You can actually get the mtx-l for around $160 on ebay

You might want to check eBay as they usually have decent prices on Innovate widebands (one of the few times I recommend to buy from there).

Ideally, you'll want the wideband to be in front of your downpipe's flex section. This is so if you develop a leak in the flex, it won't throw off your wideband readings. So you would keep the sensor in the o2 housing, but drop your downpipe and have another bung welded before the flex.

Ok I'll check eBay out thanks, and ok I got what your sayin thanks a lot guys, I thought wideband was gonna cost me a lot more that it accually is LOL
