Ive read forums and forums and cant find out my high idle problem. ive done a boost leak test and fixed the small leaks and still have high idle. adjusted my tps and would fix the idle for a bit then idle would just back up to 2000 and stays their. and my air fuel gauge reads lean. so any one else has had this issue and also my car drinks gas worser than my old foxbody so I cant evem get 10mpg. any one have any opinions? thanx for the help
 
Check throttle plate position. Re verify you don't have any boost leaks using soapy water and check exhaust leaks pre front o2.
 
yup used soapy water fixed my leaks the first time. my vacumm when it idles at 1100 on cold start its at 12ish and at 2000 it jumps to 17. cant really find any exhaust leaks. as for the isc havent checked will look at youtube videos as we speak.
 
All stock your idle vacuum should be around 18 inhg
 
Have you adjusted the biss screw? Its probably not set correctly.
Still could be bad o2 sensor, and check for exhaust leaks.
What was changed before it started doing this?
 
when I baught the car a intercooler piping piece was broke fixed that and the stock bov was cracked somehow replaced the bov still recirculating. car drinks gas like crazy reads out lean mixture and ive tryed adjusting the tps when I bring the idle down to atleast 1000 would idle fine for a bit after a while it will slowly go back up to 2000 rpm again. and vacumn is at 18 as idle gets higher. but on cold start it will be at 14 then go up as the idle raises.
 
the o2 housing was only being held by 1 bolt fixed that
tested my isc and works fine
adjusted my throttle body and now I got it to idle at 1000 but it still smells like gas coming from the muffler and im still getting a lean read out ?
