Barely got the car ready in time, but in the end everything worked out and got the car dyno tuned a few days before TX2K13!

The car made 327whp and 399.8wtq on a mustang dyno through the auto and AWD.
I wasnt too impressed with the dyno numbers but i knew the car pulled good on the street so i was happy with it.

Track day, I stared off the day running a 12.5@114, then got down to 12.04@114. The track was not hooking well at all, i couldnt leave with more than 13psi off the line or it would break loose bad. So i was only building up 10psi and getting 1.9-2.1 60' times (crap i know). Finally the last run i got a decent launch and hit a 11.75@116, really impressed with the time, if i could have build 20+psi off the brake it would have been better but the 225 street tires wouldnt hold at the track. It was nice to see some DSM people out there and nice talking to them. Glad to finally meet Beans and see his car running, im glad i wasnt the only one representing the DSM community!

Saturday night met up with a few DSM guys that im sure are on here, had some good runs and a lot of fun!
The dyno graph show 305whp and 375wtq but it wasnt the last run.
Heres some pics and a video if i can get it to work. Stole the pics from GSX_TC1 thanks man!

Great times and good solid street car numbers, especially if it's a daily driver/weekend car.

congrats...

Thanks guys . We named the car " the slingshot " when I got it, now this engine is straight out of the junk yard and into the car so now she's " the junk yard slingshot "

Wait, you mean the .55 BEP housing wasn't "choking the engine" like crazy? Normally people need a massively oversized turbine housing to break 15's. (Sarcastic comment)

On a serious note, great times! What's the weight of the car? I suspect 300hp to be very incorrect for a 3,000lb(ish) car that can run 11's at almost 120mph.

Full interior car . Probably 2950ish. Yeah the car doesn't get choked out at all right now . I suspect the dyno was a little off to be honest .

I would say that backhousing is seriously hurting performance. Nice times and all but 116 traps and mid 300 whp is way down from what that turbo can make. And if you're on the stock converter you don't really lose that much power through the auto. I actually made a little more with the auto then when i dynoed the 5 speed. Only changes were the trans and switch from link to AEM.

If you swap to the t3 housing you should see 450+ whp and 125+ traps.

Yeah a divided manifold and stock holset housing is in the future for sure. Not sure how good those dyno numbers are, the car really moves good, I mean almost all the dsms in the 11's have over 400whp.

Tyler's 16g car makes 400 whp and runs 10.2s. The power is falling off like CRAZY!! Looked like a good time in TX though. Keep working and you will get getting faster.

Yeah there is still a lot on the table. 1.9 60' time is terrible, i think i could easily run an 11.4 on a drag radial .

This year has big asperations but mainly just suspension, brakes, and getting better traction!

Good times man, hey this is Aaron I met you in the staging lanes. Shoot me a PM if you interested in putting some 60ft in that car LOL.
