A body shop may be able to throw bondo on it and sand it down, but if it were my car I would just get a new bumper and have it color matched.

Actually they would fiber glass it, not bondo it. And yes very easy to repair. maybe the use of some glazing putty for small imperfections but thats all

Im no good with that stuff LOL. What would you recomend. And do you have any advice on the dent?

Are planning on trying to fix it yourself or take it to a shop? A shop would probably ask around $500+ to fix this, about $200 of that would be in materials. Unless you find someone who does "paintless dent repair", then won't have to spend anything in materials.

What made the dent, do you know?

It wouldn't be worth it to repair that bumper. Try to find a new bumper locally so you don't have to pay the high shipping costs. Id recommend car-parts.com to search junk yards around your area. You can also usually pick one up that's the same color for a decent price on ebay!

actually its like 20 bucks in materials, labor is where they get you. I suggest getting a quote from some reputable shops. there is no telling how much they will charge you but if i were to charge Id say 200-250.

As far as the metal repair goes, they could knock it out too. like I said best bet is to go get a quote instead of imagining unreal prices.

I'd be all over an upside-down air can for that dent. You never know! (ok, ok, it's getting bigger every time I look at it ;))
I vote for paintless dent repair and a home bumper repair. Then the shop can deal with paint/color matching.

It's worth investigating though if that way would actually save you any money. It might be most efficient to just drop off the car.

If some painting is needed it would go this high since a quart of paint w/reducer and a quart of clear w/hardener is $130 (around here). Gotta have primer, masking tape, masking paper, degreaser/cleaner, maybe some body filler as well.

Do agree that he should ask around since prices are different in different areas/shops.

For the bumper you will need special adhesive similar to this Easy-finish epoxy bumper repair to bond the pieces back together.

Well heres the thing i live in nj and i dont know any reputable shops around here i went to one today and the guy wanted 1200$ for the body work and 300$ to send it to paint.and that included filling the wholes from the spoiler. But i thought that was outrageous A few people told me to just get a new bumper. And im not even sure of where a junkyard would be around here haha.
