I don't know who to shake my head at more...the idiot who told you that, or you for believing it when the resources to find out what the maximum and minimum width for a specific size wheel can be found online easily.

Oh, and factory 2GB GSX wheels are 17 x 7, and came with 215s from factory.

17x6.5

Saying I want something stanced and aggressive is a statement that anyone can get away with its like saying I want good reliable HP....give us numbers otherwise its huge gap to cover....no pun intended

Yea and you been on here for 5 years and almost 700 post. Loser!
OBTW cool car. :notgood: 2fast 2furious.

Like I said to each his own. Cool hood and wing. LOL

My car dyno'd over 600 to the wheels. On my own build. My own tune.

I also turned a Spyder GS into an AWD 2.4L turbocharged monster. What have you done?

The best rims Ive seen on here have been 19's or 18 x 9.5 xxr's are fairly cheap and look clean with a 1inch or more drop the 527's and the 530 xxr's are my personal favorites check em out

Hey man, do you have a problem? just relax, lets give answers to the question that "newbie" people or people want and :shhh:, i don't see why you argue with another member that is not even the OP, lets you be a community OK... :thumb:

BTW my opinion on your accomplishments is that they are "good but no great", Yes congratulations and everything, but saying i have done what you done more than 5 times and that i built M3s, s2000s, and some R32s make me a better member? I don't think so.

Lets focus on the discussion here, yes most of us don't like that Hellaflush stretched tires thing, but "stance" can have a lots of meanings.
camber less than -2 can wear the inner parts of the tires slightly, but they will last almost the same miles (been there done that with a road race car), toe if what we have to focus here not to have any, there is ways to stretch a tire slightly with slightly negative camber and don't sacrifice the form of the car and still have function, If we don't help him his gonna go ruin his car or over do it in the process, do you really want that for his car??? No we dont want him to overdone it and some people follow him will ruin more cars.

Lets just try to help him, if he don't wanna be help then thats a different story.

(General)
I didn't sacrifice any performance on my car with this -1.3 camber the other way around "i did it for performance" and wide wheels with wide tires and my car have "stance" can you see how stance can have different meanings? gezz people if you don't know the whole "stance" meaning don't say anything sometimes it makes you look like an idiot, play nice there or son some people is gonna laugh of your 17 x skinny wheels of your that you bought for a deal with no brand tires...Thats sacrificing performance right there.

You clearly miss the point. He thinks all the functional pieces on my car are rice, from when I was building a time attack car (a la Andrew Brilliant inspired minus the better budget). Yet he hasnt done anything with a DSM.

Wow... you people b*tch much around here, O/P its your car you can do what you want with it, when it comes to the "stance" game the best advice you got on here was from kidtsi, take his advise process it how you want just keep yourself safe you don't really want to take it to far a mild stretch and camber isn't going to kill anybody, people around here although very very helpful with most stuff hate change and if you want to mildly change YOUR car they have a b*tch fit about it. this is my rim size 18" x 8"+42 I believe I have 225/40 on them back is at a -2 camber, the front has a very very mild camber on it that's just from lowering it, if anything the camber is going to help your cornering.

^ +1 i have 18x8.75 XXR 527's wrapped in 225/45's. minimal stretch on tein coils. i love the look while at the same time not giving up funtionality. my fender sits right over my tire with minimal camber as well. its your car do what you want, if your not making 500+ hp like most of us here who cares.

You all think there is a bi*** fit going on in here, try going over to rx7club.com and telling them you are going to put pistons in an rx7 LOL.

Back on topic, OP do what makes you happy with your car. But if you want my opinion, I would set a goal with something simmilar with that black eclipse dyesuperman posted. While I'm not crazy about the wheels, the fitment looks very nice.

600hp is nice man. I did that when I was 19 in a procharged ls1 ws6. Ive also built a Turbo'd 650hp civic hatch stroker. Ive also had a 04 gsxr 1000 that I went 8.87 on. That was the past!

Now I have a 648hp FWD gst, A pro charged 560hpAWD TrailBlazer SS and a 09 gsxr 1000 show bike.
I do most of the building on all my cars, trucks, bikes And I do have pics of all my past and present cars.
I will admit I do not tune any of them myself!

Im not saying anymore. This should hold you for a while.
Were getting off topic.

You should post some dyno runs.

Hey how about you guys stop bantering back and forth and post something useful like these OG'S. Were doing stance/Suspension/ and rims right?

Ya'll should know who I'm talking to right? To many good folks to quote for refference.

http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/hangout/421761-post-your-clean-1gs-here-10.html

And because You guys ARE SO SERIOUS http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/hangout/421761-post-your-clean-1gs-here-10.html

I can't find the retarted foreigners with there cars riding on 14mm of tire acrossed the pond.Someones got to remember what that awsome thread was.

This site has really gone downhill, not in regards to the OP, every thread I read now has at least two people fighting over something stupid.

Do what you want its your car, look into the suspension sections for help. Also stancenation is probably going to be your best resource.

IMO an "aggressive stance" to me is 4 fat drag radials hangin out

Come on cry baby. If you ever make it to the dsm shoutout or Maryland International raceway. Ill show you what Ive done with a DSM.
Ill make a bet with you. Ill out dyno you and out 1/4 mile you. Just name your price.

Sorry not everyone on here builds there car to your specifications and the OP likes the low and clean look. That doesnt mean you have to start a pissing contest. Trust me you picked the wrong guy to compare cars or knowledge against. Shouldnt you be fabricating some wings on your car and take flight. LOL
If you guys want to keep doing this then please take it to pm and respect the other members.

.

^ That. Some appropriate height and width tires, lowered on some good quality springs or with coilovers is the way to go. Looks good and can still be driven in the real world.
The OP should by all means do what he wants as far as his car is concerned. I couldn't care less if he had the car painted neon pink and had all the characters from My Little Pony airbrushed on it. I have a giant wings west wing on my car from the previous owner, and I've started to actually like it. It doesn't do a damn thing positive for the car really but I think it has an aesthetic value. That's kind of what stance is, an aesthetic thing.
Plus I'm the envy of all the local Honda kids-ROFL

I deleted my earlier post because there off topic and in no way help the OP.
anyways if anyone has anything else to say message me.

That mini van or whatever it is, is just rediculous rediculous. That black DSM has a nice stance. Thats about as low as I would ever go and looks good in my opinion.fwiw

Can we clone you? Other members don't seem to get that.

OP, I strongly suggest reading some build threads on Stance Nation. I read that you've been there enough times. But reading the build threads gives you an idea on what you may go through and give you ideas on prices/brands to go with.

I'm biased when it comes to tire stretching. I've seen tires come off wheels and read too many horror stories. I would highly recommend not even going through the headache of stretching a tire.
Car in the pic is from our 4th generation friends.
