I watched one of your videos a little while ago and why I thought it was a little cheezy it was hands down the best how to and well put together video I had seen for any car not just dsms. Your attention to detail is second to none and if you had a show I think that a good amount of car guys would watch it. Congrats and keep up the great work man.

Thanks Sean, I appreciate that!

Perfect timing on the video Tom thanks a million. Im pulling my engine tomorrow and thats one thing Im doing is timing belt, and its been six years 45k so Im a little rusty. Also inspired by your car I picked up some 2g wheels tonight. What can I say they look good :)
BTW can I get your username on ecmtuning?

Good deal man, glad I could help! The 2g wheels are a good setup- perfect fit, look great and are typically inexpensive. My name on ECMTuning is the same as it is on here. I don't get to post very often on there though.

Hi everyone!

Finally a little update on the Talon. Thanks for checking it out!

Thanks for keeping this thread alive. I enjoy reading and watching it over and over!

Do you think you'll be putting together a video on the turbo and manifold selection along with the Dyno chart? Also noticed you did a down grade on a few things but was kinda confused on what parts and why? I'm interested in hearing more about why. Also I contacted you about what Clutch you chose, I initially used the PTT but that clutch transmitted too much vibration into the car for me and down shifting was a little chirpy. I recently changed that clutch out because I wanted a smoother engagement and quiter deceleration. I know it's not in everyone's price range but it worked great. I chose the OS GIKEN R2CD and couldn't be happier with it so if your clutch ever gives out on you I would recommend it. Thanks again for your thread.

Thanks man, glad you found it helpful! I'm not sure if I'll ever dyno it- I'm very happy with the tune and it runs great. I'm not sure exactly what you're referring to on the downgraded parts, but if you have any specific questions just send me a PM or message on Facebook. Thanks again and see ya!

So, when is the neext trip to the dragstrip? I would like to see your next video showcasing some great runs. Awesome videos by the way, you always take time to make very productive and informative videos.

Thanks.

Thank you for the kind words and I've got some fun stuff coming out very soon! Stay tuned. :sneaky:

Hi Everyone!

Here's the latest update on the Talon, where I do my absolute best to recreate the temperature of the sun's surface inside my bellhousing. Thanks for checking it out!

Yaaayyyy!!!

Haha, glad you like the vids!

Keep them coming!

Will do! I've been shooting a bunch of new footage lately.

omfg dude I was cracking up so hard when you said that. ROFLROFLROFL Keep up the videos, they're awesome!

Haha, glad you liked it man! Thanks for the support too!

Dang, I wish I had known you went up to knox drag on the 5th. I was contemplating going that night, but with my car being broken I didn't go. Thats too bad, maybe next time Tom.

Yeah, it was a very spur of the moment kinda thing. I hope to go in May sometime if my schedule allows. Have a good one!

Love your videos!! They have given me so much insipiration to finish my 91 tsi. This car has turned out to be 10X more of a project then I expected. Im only 17 with minimal to moderate experience working on cars and have had to rely very heavily on other to help me with the build. But when ever I get discouraged and feel lost on my car, I can just watch one or two of your videos and I can find myself tinkering away in my garage! Keep the videos coming, they have been a great help!!

Hi there and thanks for taking the time to share this! The only reason I make this videos is to share inspiration that others have given to me, so I'm glad I could help out. Best of luck to you and enjoy your car!

Mr. Tom, I have to admit that I am in love with your garage. It is comparable to a clean-room at the CDC. Great job for raising the standards in a working environment.....Subscribed. Oh, and BTW, I have recently become a fan of your videos. Good insight and tips. If you haven't done your rear subframe bushings check with BOOSTX. He fabricates them out of urethane. I just got a set, and they look promising. They are the same ones that jaffromobile has on his youtube install video. Thank you for the support and great suggestion too! I want to do all of the bushings in the car someday, as they have plenty of miles on them. Have a good one man!
