Wtf dsm flip up lights - YouTube

This has been driving me crazy. Any solution to this? My waste gate melted the plastic black and black tape covering the wires going to the alternator. Wires weren't peeled but any possibility the heat screwed this up?

There's a way to disable the automatic up/down circuit. It's a pain to manually raise/lower the lights so I don't recommend it, but if you can't fix it just let me know.

Pop up motors are good. Could be fried wire.

How sure are you? I rememeber when you got the car and the passenger sides pop up light would not raise and you had to manually raise it.

If you pay close attention to the video, the right hand side raises slower than the left. I'm not so sure if my theory is right, but I think the motor needs to see the "home" and "park" position. I would have to assume the motor is not finding the "park" position or not getting there in appropriate time. Not sure if that makes any sence. Ponte a trabajar huevon!

Yea I can't fix it. I tried all day yesterday and no luck. How do I disable it?
